Strandhotels in North Goa

The hotel is done up to a nice standard. The reception, hallways and pool are lovely. The room was also a nice. We had a few issues with the room itself, the WiFi and the gym. The room had a damp feel to it and some of our things and the bed sheets felt wet a lot of the time.  The gym was not up to date and not in use. We couldn’t even use some of the equipment.  The WiFi did not work. We could not connect and when we did, it was slower than slow. The service was really nice and the staff were very friendly.

Ich habe mit meinem Jungen’ Gang für eine Freizeitreise im Santana Beach Resort geblieben, und wir haben ein Suite-Kategoriezimmer reserviert. Der Aufenthalt war erstaunlich die Zimmer waren geräumig, heimlich und sehr sauber. Der Poolbereich war immer lebendig und lustig, zusätzlich zu den Gesamtvibe des Resorts. Eine der besten Teile ist die Calamari Shack, die der Hotelschack direkt am Strand befindet. Das Goan-Essen war lecker und der ganze Ort gibt Ihnen die perfekte Goan Vibes. Insgesamt ist Santana Beach Resort eine fantastische Wahl, wenn Sie nach einem Spaß, entspannen, Strand-Stadt in Goa suchen. Sehr empfohlen!

Была в этом отделе 4 ночи. Отель староват, по мебели заметно, но работает все исправно. Обслуживание гостей на высшем, высочайшем я бы доже сказала, уровне. Завтраки вкусные, шведский стол при этом есть официанты, которые принесут вам все что хотите. Уборка номера каждый день. Воду бутилированную каждое утро в номер приносят. В один из дней у нас была экскурсия к 6:00 утра. И так как мы не попадали на завтрак, то нам к 6:00 приготовили на ресепшене ланч-боксы. Это тоже нас очень порадовало. В целом отель, еще раз повторюсь, очень понравился. Спасибо большое!

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Tulip Goa. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and great hospitality. The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the overall service exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to Mr. Preet from the restaurant, who was incredibly supportive, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. He always greeted us with a smile, ensured we were well taken care of, and went the extra mile to make our dining experience memorable. His professionalism and warm nature truly stood out. Staff members like Mr. Preet are a great asset to the hotel. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. We highly recommend Golden Tulip Goa and look forward to staying here

Прекрасный отель на первой линии! Территория отеля - это сад, в котором затеряны деревянные домики для гостей. Много разных тропических растений, среди них домики расположены так, чтобы гости не мешали друг другу и было ощущение, что ты один наедине с природой. Каждый день территорию отеля облагораживают: подметают, просеивают песок, высаживают растения, поливают. Мне кажется даже каждый камешек и тот выложен с любовью. На ресейпшине всегда кто-то дежурит, даже ночью. Обратиться можно по любому вопросу и тебе всегда доброжелательно помогут. Домик небольшой, простой деревянный, но все необходимое есть в номере: чайник, холодильник, кондиционер, чай, кофе, сахар, каждый день бутылка воды литровая на человека. Фото домика и внутри соответствует реальности. (наш домик находился около водонапорной башни и когда она переполнялась - вода вытекала наружу и сильно шумела, в любое время суток. Решить эту проблему персонал не в силах. Поэтому берите домик подальше от башни ). Электричество ( как и везде в Гоа, часто отключалось, но практически сразу все восстанавливалось - возможно генераторы они ставят. Но проблем с горячей водой не было. На территории есть бассейн небольшой. Он очень спасал, когда на море были сильные волны и зайти в воду было невозможно. Особенно это актуально тем, кто с детьми. Около бассейна есть душ, недалеко санузел. Полотенца для бассейна - на ресейпшене можно попросить. На столиках есть меню от бара, расположенного на пляже. В баре можно сделать заказ и тебе принесут или в номер или к бассейну. На пляже постояльцам отеля шезлонги бесплатно. Около шезлонга ставят тазики с водой - чтобы ополоснуть ноги от песка. Вот такая милая забота о гостях. Чтобы поужинать или дойти до магазина - можно выбрать кафе на ближайшей улице - иди минут 7 неспеша. Нам очень понравился отель, рекомендуем!!

The hotel is in a great location. Very friendly welcome. We were shown to our room and things explained. The balcony was small but ample. The room should have contained robe and slippers but these were missing, although didn't affect our stay so not a real issue. The pool is small but was very quiet and provided a nice cool off. Towels are available at the counter. The hotel is located directly on the beach with beech shacks and restaurants on the beach very nearby. The hotel does not provide beach loungers BUT if you head to a beach shack and buy a drink or two, they will allow the use of a bed for free. Directly out of the hotel gate on the beach there was a lady with beds trying to charge 500 rupees for a bed for the day. This is not necessary when you can get a drink for less with a free bed. We nearly learned the hard way. The bed was far too hard for me, resulting in reduced sleep, but some people may prefer a firmer bed. My partner slept better than me so this was a personal experience. The bedding was nice quality though. The whole place was clean and tidy. Rooms made up every day in the afternoon so not disturbed early morning which is nice. The rooms are not soundproof so a lot of noise can be heard from outside when people start moving around in the morning. Staff were friendly - everyone had a smile, and nothing too much trouble. We only experienced breakfast once, and I would say it is ok as long as you don't expect a full English fry up (which in my opinion you shouldn't as you're in India). The food was hot, tasty, and fresh. There was plenty to choose from for a breakfast selection. If I was to fault the breakfast, to provide a suggestion, providing tea and coffee black so that customers can add their own milk would make it more accessible to all. I can't drink too much dairy so had to give this a miss. Then the only real downside to this hotel we found is when checking out, you are made to wait until the room has been checked, in case you steal anything. I completely understand this, but this should be made clear when checking in. We had booked a taxi to arrive at check out time, which could have resulted in additional costs for waiting time. Just to be mindful if staying here and arranging onward travel. Or maybe the hotel could make this policy clearer upon checking in. All in all a very nice stay in Candolim and this hotel was a good choice.

Stay was great, rooms spacious and clean, nice facilities and food was excellent. However initially we were given smoking room . When we reported they had to send a staff to verify. Staff acknowledged but first offered to spray room freshener. When we insisted we absolutely need non smoking room they made the switch. Didn’t expect this from Hilton brand

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The location is superb—just a minute's walk from the sea, making beach access incredibly easy. We were very impressed with the grounds; the territory is spacious and beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful retreat. Our twin cottage was perfect: clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable for two. Having a lovely on-site cafe was a huge convenience, and stepping out brings you right onto Arambol's lively streets, full of shops and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. A small but highly appreciated perk was the two complimentary bottles of water provided daily. The only minor inconvenience we faced was that some of our European chargers didn't fit the sockets, but the reception staff were quick to provide an adapter, sorting the issue immediately. Highly recommend for a relaxed yet convenient Goan holiday!

All staff were great. Facilities were great. Housekeeping gave us mosquito repellent so we could sleep peacefully. Rooms were spacious and clean. Only issue was during breakfast as it is quite chaotic, but I would blame the guests for that as many don't have common courtesy. Some are picking food with their fingers directly from the buffet and not using utensils provided. Some are standing close to the buffet and eating their meals without any concern for other guests. Overall a great stay and would definitely stay again.
