Das Hotel befindet sich im alten Stadtteil und kann innerhalb von zehn Minuten zu Fuß an allen Sehenswürdigkeiten erreicht werden. Das Zimmer ist groß und sauber. Es ist nicht bequem, dass es keinen Wärmepumpen im Zimmer gibt. Es muss Wasser oder Kaffee trinken und das Hotelzimmer erhalten (kostenlos). Das Zimmer 25 ist unter dem Hotel-Weinhaus, und oberste Stufe bewegt, Die Schallpegel sind klar und verwirrt!

Room was very comfortable and cozy, and a hearty breakfast was provided! Slight distance from the train station, but in a quiet location near the Royal Crescent

Perfekter Ort für die Erforschung des Bades, sehr zentraler und einfach zu Fuß zum Bahnhof, Geschäfte und Attraktionen. Die Wohnung war mit allem, was wir brauchten, uns spotless sauber und fühlte sich sicher im schönen Hof. Wir verlängerten unseren Aufenthalt, wie wir es dort zu Hause fühlten. There looked to be a secure left baggage store which we may have used if we had seen it earlier. Wäre useful to have info about this in the apartment info pack. Es gibt etwas Lärm von der Straße für Wohnung 7, teilweise von frühen Lieferungen bis Thermae Spa, das direkt gegensätzlich ist, und auch von Menschen, die in der Nacht durch die echoige Passage wandern. Wir waren daran gewöhnt, bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts, aber Lichtschlafler könnten eine der inneren Wohnungen bevorzugen.

Very nice apartment. New and well designed. Except is the noisy environment due to many night spots in near proximity. I was not affected but wife shared that noisy till about 3am.

Das Abbey Hotel Bad war so bequem mit sehr hilfsbereitem und freundlichem Personal gelegen. Wir buchten einen zusätzlichen Tag und sie waren so hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war wunderschön, das Bett bequem und ich würde jedem empfehlen, dort zu bleiben. Es liegt in der Nähe der Abbey, der Romanen Badeort, Sally Lunn’s Buns und viele schöne Geschäfte und Gebäude. Ein wunderschöner und wunderschöner Ort, um während des Besuchs von Bath zu bleiben!

Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage an der Einkaufsstraße von Bath. Das Parken ist kostenlos, Sie müssen jedoch im Voraus einen Parkplatz beim Hotel reservieren. Das Hotel verfügt über keinen Aufzug, es wird empfohlen, nicht im zweiten und dritten Stock zu wohnen. Gepäck zu transportieren kann anstrengend sein. Es gibt keine Rezeption. Wenn Sie an der Tür klingeln und niemand antwortet, müssen Sie das Personal anrufen. Lassen Sie sich von ihr das Passwort geben. Denken Sie daran, in welcher Straße das Hotel anscheinend zwei Filialen hat.

Attended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful. We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest. The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss. One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go. Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.
