Hotels in Innenstadt Bath, Bath

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Located close to the train station and close to the historical center of Bath. The staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms are comfortable and include free mini bar items. It is a charming hotel and I wi stay again.

Ich habe mit drei anderen Leuten im Apex City of Bath Hotel in einem Zimmer mit zwei Queensbetten geblieben. Das Zimmer war groß, komfortabel und hatte ein Fenster, das schön war. Das Hotel ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof entfernt, etwa einen 10-minute Spaziergang, aber es ist ein einfacher Spaziergang zum Stadtzentrum, was etwa 5-7 Minuten dauert. Der Preis war gut, vor allem da ich einen Rabatt auf Trip.com nach der Buchung von Bahntickets. Im Vergleich zur Apex City of London war dieses Hotel etwas weniger begeistert. Das London Hotel hatte mehr besondere Dinge für Geburtstags, wie kostenlose Extras. Wir haben das Frühstück des Hotels nicht versucht, aber es gibt viele gute Orte für das Frühstück in der Nähe. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt schön. Wenn Sie sich nicht ein bisschen zu Fuß gemütlich machen, ist es eine gute Wahl. Nächstes Mal könnte ich in einem Hotel noch im Zentrum der Stadt bleiben.

Bath Abbey Hotel, a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Property I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase. ❤️ Third-party Marriott members get perks, too! This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later. The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form. 🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite. The bed was very comfortable. ❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

Central location helps to overcome the cramped feeling staying in the annexe. The car was parked at the other end of town and drop off was difficult to say the least but it is what it is. I had no reason whatsoever to check out the main building reception, breakfast area perhaps a bar and lounge area too because nothing pointed me there! So generally, it was a room in a loft space built to an ”average” measure. I never like shower cubicles where I tend to bang elbows and worry about breaking something when I drop the soap. Breakfast price was horrendous so no inclination to walk in on the hop to check it out for the 2 nights stayed. I felt detached, cramped and in a bed-sit like accommodation. It is what it is.

Wonderful location accross the square. Would recommend.

Die Lage ist sehr, sehr praktisch und zentral. Der Fußweg zum Bahnhof dauert nur wenige Minuten. Bars, Restaurants und Straßen sind alle innerhalb einer Minute erreichbar Unten im Hotel gibt es ein Café Es gibt einen Haartrockner und WLAN Es ist wirklich praktisch, noch eine Nacht zu bleiben

Es war eine luxuriöse kurze Wochenende-Getaways, bevor meine Arbeit beginnt, da mein Partner nicht lange Urlaub nehmen kann. Das Deluxe Doppelzimmer ist eine enorme Enttäuschung.Unterstabil, es ist eine sehr preiswerte Lage und andere Gäste zahlt wahrscheinlich viel mehr. Jedoch würde ich nicht denken, über 300 £ zu bezahlen, um ein Zimmer zu bekommen, das sich wie ein alter Dienstmann Zimmer fühlt. Das Dachverlängerungszimmer mit der größten Blockade der Aussicht ist der Boden das typische alte Holzkrackgeräusch, wie wir gehen. Der Garten, Teppich und das Badezimmer sind nicht in der besten Zustand. Das Glas oben auf dem Tisch und dem Tisch ist nicht gut ausgestattet. Eine andere Sache ist, dass ohne vorheriges Bedenken, das Spa geschlossen Feen Wartung am Morgen verlassen wir. Die Fälschungspflanzen machen es weniger luxuriös als seine Marke. Die Seite ist auch eine Art von inklusive, die den Spa-Pool, Fitnessraum und Frühstück enthalten. Das Frühstück ist ziemlich schön, wenn Sie Englisch Frühstück mögen oder sie haben einen Grundbuffet.

Had high expectations of my stay and it was completely fulfilled and I was impressed. Overall welcome and ambience was just right being professional and sincere. Our bed room, junior suite after upgrading with extra fee, was reasonably sized although the bathroom with the layout of the door made it difficult and slightly dangerous to enter / close behind guest. The spa village was busy but understandable; it felt clean and very updated overall so there was less of a concern on hygiene which is understood can be difficult to maintain standards. The breakfast room, choices and service was fine as expected so it’s worth signing up for. Although by day 2, it was hard fo imagine having another breakfast so possibly having breakfast for one day as an option would be good. Would have liked to have body lotion in bathroom as I had to rely on the one available in the spa village… and with 2 nights stay, toiletries were not replenished … Always a nice welcome when soft drinks / mini bar is complimentary ; although it doesn’t cost a lot to fill a fridge but small gestures like these make guests feel more welcomed Thanks for a great stay; would like to take my 80 year old mum here sometime in future as she would enjoy it tremendously !!
