Gute Orte.

We stayed at Gaja Mina Resort Balian, in late June 2023. The place was underwhelming. The setting in a large rambling garden is quite lovely, with a walk out to the headland with great views but the resort's gardens and buildings are poorly maintained with piles of rotting compost, construction fences, partially cut trees (logs), scattered litter, unemptied rubbish bins, neglected and broken furniture and water features that were dried up or contained stagnant water infested with mosquito lava. My sons room was grim, concrete and basic, think prison cell, ill matched furniture, with a toilet that regurgitated what went into it (disgusting), a shower that only had cold water and gave you an electric shock when you used it. My room although quite charming in a traditional but dilapidated way had a family of cockroaches in the bedside table, most of the window stays and catches were broken. Without a shower screen or curtain, use the shower and wash the floor at the same time. Annoying and mould making. The lighting was so poor you could not read in the room. In the tropics its nice to sleep with fresh air under a mosquito net (yes there is malaria in Bali), but lack of flyscreens and only a duvet means you have to sleep with ac cold enough to justify a duvet. That’s energy efficient. NOT. There is a pool area with a bar. The bar was always closed and there was no staff to provide drinks (even in the restaurant next to it), so we got them from a local shop about 10 minutes walk away. The pool had mold all around the edge. I suspect they did not use chlorine in it. There was not enough umbrellas if more than two families were there. The restaurant food is ordinary and very expensive; the internal dining room smelt of stale food and damp. Everyone I saw requested salt and pepper to make the food edible, including on their pizzas. My prawns were only just edible, suffering greatly from blandness. The fresh coconut juice directly from a coconut tasted of water not coconut. When I brought it up with the staff he dismissed my concern. The restaurant was also the most expensive in Balian. Considering the waiters did not come to the tables to take orders, barely moved and provided the most meagre level of surly service, the 10% restaurant service charge included on the bill at the end was a complete mystery. Although our tariff noted that included return transfers to the airport, they wanted me to pay for it. 24 hours prior to leaving I provided my voucher to reception but they insisted I contact the resort Owner to sort it out. She did not answer my calls or texts; finally an hour before departure her only response was that she was in a meeting. She is a disgrace. This place is wildly over-priced, horribly neglected and staffed by the most unhappy people I met in Bali. Even the airport security staff were friendlier. It could be so much more.

Insgesamt ist das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist direkt im Zentrum von Kuta, Central Kuta Park ist ideal. Aber seien Sie nicht überrascht, wenn Sie ein Vielfaches der Parkgebühr zahlen müssen, weil das Hotel nicht mit dem dortigen Parksystem zusammenarbeitet, wenn Sie im Hotel nebenan übernachten. Dort ist die Parkgebühr inbegriffen. Das Kuta Hotel hat dieses Privileg nicht täglich, Sie MÜSSEN also extra Parkgebühr zahlen! Das Zimmer ist einfach und ok. Sauber? Ich habe Erfahrung mit Zimmer 1217, wo es viele Flecken und Schmutz auf den Bettlaken gab, das Fenster ist nicht sauber und wenn man nach draußen schaut, war direkt vor dem Zimmer eine tote Maus. Seien Sie nicht überrascht, wenn es überall riecht. Das Badezimmer ist ok, es dauert 2 Minuten, bis man eine heiße Dusche bekommt, Sie müssen es neu einrichten, da es keine warme Dusche, sondern superheißes Wasser war. Der Abfluss ist verstopft, Sie werden dadurch einen überschwemmten Boden haben. und es dauert ein paar Minuten, sie loszulassen. Das war meine Erfahrung bei meinem Aufenthalt im Every day, vielleicht machen Sie eine andere und gute Erfahrung. Ich habe nur das Zimmer gebucht, da ich superfrüh zu meinem Flug aufbreche, also gab es kein Frühstück, da ich es auch nicht gebucht habe. Werde in Erwägung ziehen, wiederzukommen. Verspreche es nicht!

Ich habe nach einer Unterkunft in Bali Dempensar gesucht und bin auf diese Vila-Unterkunft gestoßen. Ich kam sehr spät an, als ich sollte, aber alles wurde von einem sehr wettbewerbsfähigen Personal geregelt und mir den ganzen Weg mitgeteilt. Ich war so bitte und bleibe einen zusätzlichen Tag. Es befindet sich in sehr guter Lage und es ist so schön und sehr gut gepflegt. Ich fühlte mich so gut, dass ich es bereits mehreren Familienmitgliedern und Freunden wärmstens empfohlen habe Danke schön

Was sagen wir über diese kleine Episode? ...Nun, es ist ruhig und ruhig und wird derzeit renoviert (mit wenig Störung, muss gesagt werden) ... Es ist auf der falschen Seite der Autobahn, so, wenn Sie nicht mit dem Tod sagen wollen, müssen Sie in jedem Punkt Rad oder Cab ...Die Architektur ist merkwürdig ... Formen Sie über die Funktion mit einem Pool im Mittel ... und Zimmer, die wirklich um 50% größer sein muss für jemanden, der eine Feline richtig schwingen möchte. Frühstück, robust und fest ...besonders wenn Sie asiatisch ...staff, zwingend und aufmerksam ...a Fitnessraum, der bessere Tage gesehen hat ... ein immer leeres Restaurant, das schöne lokale Lebensmittel zu einem angemessenen Preis ...a große Mega-Malle hinter dem ist zugänglich von Das Hotel ... und ein Booze-und-snack-füllter Minimumart an der nächsten Tür. Was zu sagen? ... Es ist nett. Es ist ok. Es ist ein wenig schwul und nicht sehr Bali ... Sie können wahrscheinlich besser, aber wenn Sie nicht können, ist es groß.

Es war mein 1. Besuch sowohl auf Bali wie auch in diesem Hotel. Meiner Meinung nach war es fast Perfekt. Die Lage mit nur 15 Gehminuten vom Flughafen sowie 15 Minuten vom Großen Strand in Kuta, super vielen kleinen Stores, Restaurants usw. ist einfach klasse. Auch das Hotel an sich war grundlegend sauber und Personal sehr freundlich. Ausstattung war top, es war alles da was ich brauchte. Somit habe ich nichts aus zusetzen, ich denke wenn die Poolbar besetzt wäre und man irgendwie abends noch gemütlich an einer Hotelbar oder Poolbar sich aufhalten könnte und wenn die kleinen Balkone nicht vom KlimaAnlagen Wasser voll Tropfen würden, wäre es eine 10 von 10, so eher eine 9, was heißt ich würde jedes mal wieder Eden buchen wenn ich nach Kuta käme.

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service).
