My partner and I stayed in Annupuri for a total of 8 nights in May 2023. Our first impression was a bit eerie as we arrived quite late in Bali and Google Maps decided to reroute us, taking the long route to reach the villa. Mind you, it was all dark and foggy at night, with very few street lights. Upon arriving, we were greeted by the friendly night staff and a beautiful villa, just as we had expected. There was plenty of space to put our luggage, and a private pool was right in front of our room. Although we were told the villas were fully occupied, we hardly came across any of our neighbors most days. This meant we enjoyed a great deal of privacy. It was the perfect place for us, seeking serenity away from the tourists. Some days, we were so tired from sightseeing that we arrived home just in time for an evening dip before the sun set. Most days, we were out and about. We spent a night away from the villa when we stayed overnight in Nusa Penida, and by the end of that trip, we were eagerly looking forward to returning to the villa and pampering ourselves with a warm bath in the tub. What made this trip the most memorable were the friendly staff we came across, from the guy who looked after the pool cleaning to the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and security staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, even being flexible about our meal entitlement. We were given the option to switch breakfast to lunch or dinner depending on our schedules since breakfast was served from 8 am, and on some days, we had to leave quite early. We found it very considerate of them to offer us such flexibility. After Bali, my partner and I went on a few other trips, and everywhere we stayed, we kept referring back to our fondest time spent in Annupuri. Definitely will be back again in the future
