My best friend of 20 years and I recently went on our first ever girls trip (we are now both 40) and booked our first 3 nights at Sun Island Hotel and Spa Legian. Upon arrival we were both delighted with the architecture and presentation of the hotel, both clean and modern, yet still authentically Bali and traditional. Check in was a breeze, and every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and helpful, but genuinely cheerful. It says a lot about a place when ALL the staff are that happy all the time! Particular mention goes to the Restaurant manager who welcomed us warmly by name every morning with the most beautiful smile and upmost of care. We stayed on the ground floor in a twin share room, which was spotlessly clean, with fantastic aircon. It had a small balcony big enough for one person to stand on to vape, and the absence of any cigarette smoke on the premises was a DELIGHT. The pool areas (there are 2) are truly spectacular! We stayed away from the rooftop as we are both sun sensitive and it is better suited to sun worshippers working on their tan. The 4th floor pool bar suited us perfectly, with plenty of shaded areas for relaxing on sun lounges. Yes, the decking is in need of maintenance, but from what I understand works are set to replace the decking starting June. I can't wait to return to see the upgrade. Although the pool bars were not permanently staffed throughout our stay, a quick call using the bar phone, had whatever we required delivered quickly to us with no issue at all. It was actually such a luxury to have that pool area to ourselves most of the time. The view from the 4th floor Infinity pool is pretty special, and I thoroughly enjoyed living my best mermaid life splashing about. Breakfast every morning was basic, but delicious, consisting of fresh cooked eggs to order, alongside a buffet of noodles, rice, fruit and pastries. Food service was consistently great every morning. At the end of our 3 night stay we were both so sad to leave as the location of the hotel is absolutey PERFECT. Close enough to be walking distance to all the action and nightlife, we felt completely safe at all times, yet far enough away to be silent of a night time when we needed to sleep (in super comfy beds mind you). After a hiccup at our next hotel within a couple of hours of arriving,that we both couldn't look past, we made the decision to check out and return to Sun Island. To our delight, not only were we welcomed back with literal open arms, we were offered the same rate we had been paying (was an early bird rate when we booked and this was now a weekend) but put straight back into our freshly cleaned original room. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to the service we received. A small issue with the aircon was attended to as soon as we made mention of it and the remainder of our stay just felt like home. We both can't WAIT to return to Sun Island Legian on our next Bali adventure!

Overall experience was good. We have a pleasant stay. Directly attached to a mall, nearby full of restaurants and shops, very close to the beach. Very nice staff who greet you every time. Breakfast is decent. There are still rooms for improvement. Appreciate if the hair dryer can be permanently available in all rooms but not on request and need to request on daily basis. Sound proof is on poor side especially during peak season and there are some guests who like to make noise at 3am and hotel repair work that is done at midnight. The jam outside the hotel main road is super bad, a disaster if you need to travel outside.

Ich bin froh, dass ich dieses Hotel für meine erste Unterkunft in Bali gewählt habe. Da ich aus der Karibik reiste, dauerte es mich 4 Tage auf die Insel und die Unterkunft bietet gute Ruhe, großer Service und Zugänglichkeit ist sehr wichtig. Ich bin ein Industrieprofessor und ich gebe dieses Hotel Top-Marken. Schönes Eigentum und sehr freundliches und wunderbares Personal. Sukur und Helen von der Rezeption sind absolut erstaunlich. Es war wirklich wunderbar, mit ihnen während der Ein- und Auscheckverfahren zu interagieren. P.S. Helen’s Mandarin ist ausgezeichnet, ein großes Vermögen in der Hotelindustrie und Sukur Leidenschaft für die Industrie und seine Arbeit macht einen sehr guten ersten Eindruck. Das Frühstücksteam, das Sevira, Manik, Adi, Havita und Arik umfasste, waren alle erstaunlich und identifizierte mich durch den Namen und wusste meine Präferenzen jeden Morgen. Ich empfehle dieser Immobilie sehr, seine Lage ist ideal, neue und moderne Einrichtungen und der Wert für Geld. Ich werde sicher wieder zurückkommen.

The hotel staff and management were exceptional. Friendly and accommodating. I stayed at this hotel twice for a total of 17 nights and was very comfortable. The rooms are spacious with an en-suite with a bath as well as a shower over and the rooms are dated but being renovated. The pool on the rooftop is large enough to swim properly but the stairwell accessing it is old and poorly maintained and not suitable for those with mobility problems. The quality and quantity of food was variable. I saw guests complaining, on more than one occasion that there was no breakfast foods left. I also ordered a spaghetti bolognaise which had no bolognese on it at all! Saying that, I had a delicious pizza loaded with toppings. I think I’d they can get the food service consistent, they will have nailed it. The net curtains in the room were black at the bottom and the curtains were heavily stained and the bath wasn’t cleaned ever during my stay, despite the room being cleaned. But, these are small issues which most places have. For value for money, I shopped around and my second stay was half the price of the first, simply by shopping around. It was very good value for money and a short walk from the beachfront, so I’d definitely recommend this hotel and I’d stay there again.

Unser Aufenthalt in Mega Boutique, Zimmer 502, war eigentlich mehr als schön. Das Zimmer, in dem wir geblieben waren, war sauber und das Personal war ziemlich reaktiv. Aber nachdem wir am 8. Januar morgens abwarten, realisierten wir es in der Nacht, dass unsere 2 Pakete gefrorenes Essen im Kühlschrank im Zimmer 502. Ich rief das Hotel sofort ... Es wurde von dem Mitarbeiter, der mich gebeten, Zeit zu geben, um die Hausaufbewahrung zu überprüfen. 5 Minuten später riefen wir nur zurück, um eine Antwort zu erhalten, dass sie unsere gefrorene Nahrung im Kühlschrank nicht gefunden haben. Wir wussten, dass sie genau in den Kühlschrank gelegt haben. Aber, mirakulos, abracadabra ... hocus pocus ... das Nahrung verschwand ohne Spur. Es ist eine Schande, Unsere Aufenthaltserfahrung war ziemlich gut, aber hinterlässt einen unbehaglichen Eindruck auf den verlorenen & gefundenen Hotelservice. Hoffentlich schenkt die Hotelmanagement-Betreuung in ihrer haushaltstechnischen Integrität eine enge Aufmerksamkeit.

Es war mein 1. Besuch sowohl auf Bali wie auch in diesem Hotel. Meiner Meinung nach war es fast Perfekt. Die Lage mit nur 15 Gehminuten vom Flughafen sowie 15 Minuten vom Großen Strand in Kuta, super vielen kleinen Stores, Restaurants usw. ist einfach klasse. Auch das Hotel an sich war grundlegend sauber und Personal sehr freundlich. Ausstattung war top, es war alles da was ich brauchte. Somit habe ich nichts aus zusetzen, ich denke wenn die Poolbar besetzt wäre und man irgendwie abends noch gemütlich an einer Hotelbar oder Poolbar sich aufhalten könnte und wenn die kleinen Balkone nicht vom KlimaAnlagen Wasser voll Tropfen würden, wäre es eine 10 von 10, so eher eine 9, was heißt ich würde jedes mal wieder Eden buchen wenn ich nach Kuta käme.

I stayed at Grand Sovereign Hotel Kuta Bali from Jul 11th to Jul 14th. The hotel was great, the service was excellent, etc, with only one miss: I forgot my laptop charger and left it in hotel meeting room. After I flew back home to Java, I finally realized that I forgot my charger and immediately look a way to contact the hotel. Well, the response was quick and one of the hotel staff, Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL kindly help and sent the charger back to me (I include the pics of the charger and the receipt of the delivery service). What a great post service! With this kind of service, I really recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. Thank you Grand Sovereign, Matur Suksma Ms. ANGEL/ANJEL. 👍👍🙏🙏

Stay with my family in this Hotel. Room was comfortable with Balinese style building. Breakfast menu need more options. Kids pool was great and clean, my daughter very happy spend time there. Upon chek in we escorted by YOGA, front office training, he has a good communication skill to the guest and can explain well the area on the short time walk to our room. In the future YOGA i think can be a good asset for any Company

Ich empfehle Netze über das Bett, da ich über Nacht ein Fest für sie war . Das Personal bot Fliegen Spray, aber ich wollte das toxische Personal nicht inhalieren während dort. Ich checkte eine Nacht früh aus, da ich das nicht fühlte, dass es eine entspannende Erfahrung. Das Hotel ist jedoch vernünftig bezahlt und die Grundstücke und Architektur angenehm anders

We have just completed a magical 10 days at Wyndham Jivva Beach. We are long term Wyndham members (owners) and have stayed at many of their hotels and resorts. Jivva Beach rates at the top of the list for us. It's just far North East of Denpasar to be out of the rat race but still within easy reach of Sanur and other tourist attractions. Apart from its idyllic setting, the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. A special mention to the head chef Gusti who has a wealth of experience at 5 star international hotels. His leadership ensured a high level of cuisine at every meal. And Wijaya, the food and beverage manager led a team of wait staff which would be hard to beat anywhere. There are no shops close by, but we booked half day tours using local drivers at very reasonable prices (IDR 600,000 for 5 hours), so we were able to visit many local attractions. We also took the ferry to the island of Penida across the Badung Strait ~ well worth the time to do this. We were surprised that the beach (which is very close), is made of black sand ~ not a problem for us, but maybe for some. In essence, we love Wyndham Jivva and intend to visit again in 2024.
