百年老酒店翻新的，整體還可以。 給的房間也是很小，基本就是酒店大堂旁邊樓梯走上去一層就到了，衞生間還行相對大一點，洗澡水很小，女生頭髮多的很難洗頭髮吹頭髮。 聖誕氛圍很好，酒吧不錯，有york本地啤酒。 酒店住店客人停車7磅每天，一定要在辦理入住的時候告知前台並預付停車費，然後停在車位上，否則有100磅的罰款！ 酒店的地理位置很好，離york鎮中心網紅打卡點2公里左右，步行49分鐘，叫uber很便宜幾磅很方便！叫外賣也是很方便，酒店斜對面就是加油站+24小時便利店很方便。 酒店往外圍走兩步就是holiday inn酒店和york大學已經tesco超市很方便。看地圖離一個奧特萊斯也很近。總之遠離城鎮中心但又很方便的位置！ 房間會準備lotus焦糖餅乾，酒店可以去前台領一次性拖鞋和牙刷，房間裏沒有的。可以延遲退房1點。 房間看上去有兩個空調卻沒有遙控器，一夜自己突然開關十幾次，挺嚇人的，但畢竟是百年酒店湊合吧。 萬豪的鉑金大使卡不享受早餐等任何權益。 總體過夜還可以畢竟價格便宜！

Awful stay, sleep deprived because we had a faulty fire alarm screaming alarms into our ears and the last night and following day were completely ruined for us negating the whole point of a short two day city break. Fire alarm was faulty and repeatedly went off during the night, screeching into your ears starting at 10 pm, if that doesn’t sound like fun to you, avoid, especially as the issue wasn’t fixed when we left. Alarm issues started on Sunday morning but didn't seem to be passed onto staff on Sunday evening and were not dealt with or forwarded. Fire alarm went off on Sunday night at 10pm which should have registered a major issue but rather than deal with it, roomzzz just left it. I rang the member of staff on duty and told him it needed silencing due to him saying it was a faulty sensor and i informed him it had gone off before that day of which he was not aware. He simply wasn't trained to do it or trained in escalation and simply left it, having already disturbed everyone at 10pm on a Sunday night which is ultimately managements fault for not making sure staff understood what to do in emergency situations. Faulty alarm then predictably woke everybody up at 2am which i told the member of staff the first time we didn’t want to be woken up again, then at half 2 and then it went off again a few times when the staff member finally decided to get the manager out of bed, which should have happened when the issue first appeared on Sunday morning or at the very least sorted at 10pm when it went off at 10pm Sunday evening. To top it off it went off again Monday morning at 11am. The Manager was nice but full of the usual excuses which i just were not buying, she said it could have been handled better but it was handled at all, it was amateur at roomzzz York. Its likely still faulty as i type this due to the alarm company clearly not being called out. She said there was not a lot that could be done because it’s the fire alarm which is just…a lie, the zone or faulty sensor should have been isolated on the system. Again lack of knowledge on what to do from management. To top it off we had someone hammering away on Monday morning at 11 am, clearly nobody communicates who is in what rooms. Other than that the stay was standard though not to the quality we had when we visited the Chester roomzzz aparthotel. TV was faulty when we booked in which was a minor inconvenience but nothing compared to having screeching faulty fire alarms shocking you out of bed. Awful experience and we rushed home due to been knackered because my partner couldn’t get back to sleep, rather than enjoying the day out in York.

Die Lage des Hotels ist nicht schlecht. Die Ausfahrt ist das Schloss. Ich gehe mehr als 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Bahnhofsstation, ich gehe mehr als 400 Meter zu Fuß zur Mastschachtstraße, das Zimmer ist nicht groß, der Sound ist normal, das Badezimmer ist voll mit Badegewässern, die Wasserhahn des Gesichts braucht lange Warmwasser.

Ich hatte meine Nacht vor dem großen Tag hier mit dem besten Mann. Was für ein brillantes Ort! Wir genossen wirklich das Abendessen und die Erdbeben besonders, aber andere Highlights waren die Cocktailbar und der Schwimmbad. Dienstleistung durch das gesamte Personal war fantastisch und ich hatte eine wirklich gute und gut benötigte Nacht Schlaf; das Zimmer selbst war fehlerfrei und das Bett wirklich komfortabel. Ich werde sicher, es für jede andere besondere Gelegenheit wieder zu bedenken.

Wir blieben hier für eine Hochzeit. Das Zimmer selbst war Präfekt. (Familienzimmer) Großes Badezimmer und sehr geräumige Schlafzimmer. Wir hatten ein Mini-Kühlschrank mit Wasser und Milch in, Teekaffeeeinrichtungen usw. Eisen, Haartrockner. Leider dachten wir nicht, dass die Betten oder Kissen sehr komfortabel waren. Sehr großes Bett, aber es war 2 Betten zusammengestellt und ich und mein Partner konnte das Kluft zwischen den Betten fühlen! Nicht das, was wir erwarteten. Die Unterkunft ist absolut erstaunlich! Wir hatten die beste Zeit. Alle Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und willkommen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten über 2 Kurse Schweine/Hühner/Rindfleisch, dann ein Käsekuchen und ein festes Toffeepudding. Absolut lecker!

Stayed for a night in February with my wife, 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Definitely a 4* star plus apartment but on checking out in a heavy rainstorm, reception would only look after our luggage pre train at £3 an item including my kids school rucksacks for their day trip i.e. not just the big suitcases! Reasoning by reception staff that this was at managers discretion and they were not a hotel. This rang as hollow as the York Minister’s bells, was not dealt with particularly courteously and meant our last interaction with the staff and lasting impression was one of annoyance at the financial opportunism. Appreciate you can’t buy a coffee for £3 these days but it’s the principle! Still lots of pros to staying here 1) fantastic location a stone’s throw from Minster 2) lot of space for the 4 of us 3) modern amenities inc good shower 4) well insulated and warm with modern heating system 5) old sloping floor does give it a quirky charm. Cons- sloping foor and average bed mattress does make you feel like you might roll out of bed at any moment.

Wir haben mehr als einmal in diesem Hotel geblieben und jedes Mal, wenn wir nach York zurückkehren, ist das der Ort, den wir lieben. Wir haben immer das Personal ausgezeichnet und wirklich hilfreich in jeder Hinsicht gefunden. Die Zimmer sind schön und sauber, und das Frühstück war ein guter Start zum Tag, der perfekt gekocht wurde. Wir empfehlen jedem, der York besucht, dieses Hotel zu versuchen, Sie werden nicht enttäuscht. Das Zimmer, das wir diese Zeit hatten, hatte ein vier-Poster und einen Balkon mit einer tollen Dusche . Das Zimmer war liebt und warm, was meine Frau liebe, wie es jetzt ist Herbst das Wetter kann kühler sein. Wenn wir nach York zurückkehren, werden wir sicherlich wieder buchen.
