Dieses Hotel hat grundsätzlich keine Bewertungen von Chinesen. Um Fallstricke zu vermeiden, ist es notwendig, es zu bewerten. Das Hotel liegt an einem abgelegenen Ort, auf einem Hügel am Nil. Es ist nicht in der Stadt Assuan. Sie müssen den Fuß des Berges erreichen und dann mehr als 20 Minuten mit dem Tuktuk fahren, um den Berg hinaufzufahren . Obwohl Tuktuk kostenlos ist, weiß der Taxifahrer, der Sie dorthin bringt, normalerweise nicht, dass Sie den Berg hinauf müssen, und sobald er erfährt, dass Sie den Berg hinauf müssen, wird er die ganze Zeit fluchen und sich beschweren. Wenn Sie nachts in Assuan ankommen, wird es noch peinlicher. Wenn Sie dort leben, meiden Sie alle Möglichkeiten, am Stadtleben von Assuan teilzunehmen, insbesondere am Nachtleben, da es sehr unbequem ist, den Berg hinauf und wieder hinunter und zurück zu gehen. Autos für entsprechende Reiserouten können vom Hotel gebucht werden, der Hotelmanager wird jedoch auch einen Preis angeben und keine Verhandlungen akzeptieren. Er lässt keinen Cent von einer großen Mahlzeit übrig.

Pros The hotel facilities were absolutely beautiful with an amazing view. Traditional Nubian style house. Every corner makes you want to capture the space. We had a rocky start but the hotel staff tried to redeem themselves. We lost an apple watch which the hotel helped us get back ASAP before we reached Luxor. We are grateful for this. Cons Awful communication and hospitality. We were the only guests in the entire resort because of low season but still received shitty service. The hotel is in a secluded place making it difficult to reach.It’s on top of a mountain on a dusty rocky road. The hotel offers a tuktuk. We did our research prior and contacted the hotel to arrange getting to the hotel from the village and check in since we knew we’d land in the AMs. We were ignored. We arrived at the village meeting point at 1:45 but only ended up getting to our rooms around 3:50am because reaching the hotel via call and WhatsApp was so difficult. The staff had no sense of urgency. We were frustrated and anxious in this wellness resort. Our taxi driver refused to take us up the mountain and the tuktuk refused to take us because of our many bags (which is understandable). I’m very disappointed in the service and I know the staff has lots of potential to improve on their service delivery. The hotel needs to be more cognisant of their customer service and guests hospitality. Staying here was stressful. Recommended if you want aesthetic vibes,a beautiful picturesque hotel with good breakfast. Don’t recommend if you prioritise great guest services, comfortability and peace.

My biggest regret of our Egypt trip is that we only stayed here for one night! Kato Dool is everything and more that you see in the photos. The hotel is absolutely stunning, the service is impeccable, the breakfast and other meals were all absolutely delicious, and I don’t know how they managed to keep the pool cool in heat of the summer, but they did, and it was so refreshing! The hotel is situated on the West Bank, the quieter side and away from the city. Do note that it is quite a ride to get there, up a dirt road/hill and you have to get there by tuk-tuk (provided by the hotel), but it is absolutely worth it and the desert views along the way are beautiful. Don’t hesitate for even a moment - you must stay here while in Aswan, and make sure you book yourself an extra night to have a day to just relax by the pool and enjoy the views over the Nile!

Our stay at Kato Dool Wellness Resort in Aswan was absolutely magical! The resort feels like a hidden paradise, nestled in the mountains and designed like a colorful, mystical village. Every wall is covered with beautiful artwork, and the atmosphere is both relaxing and inspiring. It truly feels like stepping into another world. The entire team was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. A special shoutout to Ahmed and Omar, who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. His kindness and helpfulness made our experience even more enjoyable :)

Ahmed was great! Thanks for everything. Hotel is amazing!!! 100% recommended. The decor, the food and the quietness is great. Breakfast was amazing and all very comfortable. Again, the decor of the place is something special. Soo many pictures!

Was an amazing stay, beautiful location definitely worth spending more than one night because there is so much to do and to enjoy the view with a nice amazing tea, which they have many. Food also very amazing. Ahmed anwar at reception was so helpful and nice and organised us the private trip to Abu Simbal and to the airport so we had nothing to worry about.

Perfect stay, room are really confortable (extra fluffy pillow) and the view on the Nil and Assuan is breathtaking. Food also is really good, a pool Is open all day long and it's perfect tò have a sunbath with a view on the beach and the Nil's isles.

Beautiful property in traditional Nubian style. Rooms were nicely decorated and had very comfortable beds. The property is located on a mountain overlooking the Nile, the staff was very friendly and helpful with organizing drivers and tours to make this an unforgettable experience!
