El personal del alojamiento es extremadamente amable y siempre brindando la mejor información para disfrutar del lugar y la isla. La ubicación es fantástica con muchos bares restaurants y mercados a un muy corta distancia. El desayuno excelente, abundante y de buena calidad. La crítica constructiva es respecto a la limpieza de las habitaciones. En nuestro caso estaba limpia pero hemos presenciado casos en los que no estaba del todo limpia. No nos cambiaron las sábanas a los 3 días, como debía haber sido, en nuestro caso no nos importaba porqué nos fuimos al día 4 pero sino hubiera sido un reclamo a realizar en recepción cuando uno regresa de la playa y solo quiere ducharse y relajarse. Creo que el personal de limpieza no los acompañan a los propietarios con el esfuerzo que ponen para que todo funcione bien.

Ich habe 10 Tage Halbpension (Frühstück und Abendessen) mit meiner Schwester gebucht. Bei der Ankunft wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es kein Abendessen, sondern nur eine Snackbar gäbe. Das Hotel beschuldigte TUI, bei der wir gebucht hatten, aber sie akzeptierten uns mit Halbpension. Das haben wir auch bei TUI aufgegriffen. 4 Plastikbügel im Kleiderschrank - das war für zwei Personen für 10 Nächte!! Katzen, die frei im Speisesaal herumlaufen, tatsächlich auf dem Frühstücksbuffet zu sehen. Katzen kackten an der Hotelrezeption – wir beobachteten, wie das Personal sich Mühe gab, es diskret aufzuräumen. Das Hotelpersonal versorgte die Katzen täglich mit Futterresten. Frühstücks- und Snackbar – Essen von sehr niedrigem Standard. Das Badezimmer hatte eine Dusche in der Größe eines Waschbeckens mit einem Plastikvorhang. Nach dem Duschen war der Boden jeden Abend überschwemmt und wir mussten ihn mit unseren Handtüchern aufwischen. Eines Abends saß ich auf dem Balkon und spielte Musik auf meinem Telefon – nicht lauter als meine Sprechstimme, NICHT an den Lautsprecher angeschlossen – bat darum, leise zu sein und den Lärm niedrig zu halten. Ich wünschte einem Freund vor dem Hotel an der Hauptstraße eine gute Nacht – ein Mitarbeiter kam heraus und sagte uns, wir hätten es auch geschafft Viel Lärm, wir waren nicht laut, aber das Personal saß jeden Abend draußen und redete, das Rauchen schien nie Arbeit zu haben. Im Hotel gab es zu keiner Zeit Musik, die Bar war nie geöffnet – wenn man etwas trinken wollte, musste man ein Personal finden Mitglied und fragen Sie, doch an der Rezeption gab es ein Schild mit der Aufschrift „Täglich servierte Cocktails mit Gratis-Shot“ ??????????? Die Rezeptionisten (zwei Marias) haben ihr Bestes gegeben, um uns zu helfen. Hotelmanagerin Alexia (nicht sicher, wie sie richtig heißt) war sehr zurückhaltend und nahm keine unserer Beschwerden ernst und versuchte, den Eindruck zu erwecken, dass wir schuld an der Beschwerde waren!!!! Wir würden nicht noch einmal dort übernachten, wenn sie es kostenlos anbieten würden – es ist wirklich so schlimm :( Marie & Pauline, Großbritannien

Schrecklich. Schrecklich gemanagt. Null Komfort. Hotel ohne Küche. Obligatorische Halbpension an der Poolbar. Ein Badezimmer aus den 1970er Jahren. 1 Meter x 1 Meter große Dusche mit Vorhang. Alte Möbel. Unhöflicher Manager. Ich habe so unverwechselbare Fotos gemacht, dass ich vom Reiseveranstalter eine Rückerstattung erhalten habe. Unbedingt vermeiden.

Das Hotel hat viele Qualitäten. Erstens ist das Personal gut vorbereitet, nett und freundlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, obwohl es beim Frühstück immer das Gleiche war wie immer und beim Mittagessen das gleiche Menü. Leider bedürfen die Zimmer und Innenräume dringend einer Renovierung. Bequemes Bett und Kissen. Die Putzfrauen waren freundlich und die Zimmer wurden immer gereinigt. Das Mückenproblem wurde mit dem an der Rezeption bereitgestellten Automaten gelöst. Der Pool draußen ist spektakulär. Gratis Parkplätze. Sehr gemütlicher Balkon außerhalb des Zimmers. Hotel, das 4/5 Sterne wert sein könnte, wenn es modernisiert würde.

Wir waren für 5 Nächte hier und hatten eine tolle Zeit, das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er informierte uns über alle Must-Dos der Insel. Der Pool ist riesig und hat Kissen auf den Sonnenliegen. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Wir sehen uns nächstes Jahr wieder

A beautiful little hotel, e we have just stayed for one week and I will honestly say for the money this hotel is superb . The staff are friendly and helpful and always smiling and cheerful. The pool and bar area are great , the rooms larger enough with a lovely balcony. The rounds are cleaned daily and kept immaculate . I would highly recommend this hotel. Close to all the bars and resultants with a local small beach within 5 mins walk and bigger beaches 20 mins max on the local bus with cost €2 . We hired a car for Couple of days which was excellent and are at the restaurant next door which is by far the best in the area .

We picked this hotel as it was 4*,and we had stayed at the 3*Contessa in Argasi previously. Compared to the Anamar the Contessa is a 6*!! The Anamar was a disaster from the start, on arrival you are asked to pay €7 per night greek room charge as the hotel is classed as 4*, a total of €98 for two weeks plus a charge to pay by card (altogether about £90). Our room was not bright and airy with a pool or garden view as advertised but very dark and brown, looking out to a hedge with a road beyond the hedge. When the shower was turned on the pressure sent the shower head spraying all over the tiny bathroom, but as the drain was located sloping up from the tiles it did not drain away. The bar pushed cocktails but had no tomato juice for my Bloody Mary so I opted for a glass of wine, no wine either. No WiFi in our room- told to go out on the balcony but that was no good either. We ran out of toilet roll by day 3 no spares. I contacted tui as our room had all these faults and no clean towels after 3 days. At breakfast the following morning I was approached by the manager who demanded I should have spoken to him before tui, I had and they had supposedly fixed the shower and offered to mop the floors every time we showered if we went and told them. We were moved to a brighter room with a pool view. Over two weeks our room was not touched on 4 days, 3 times I had to go and ask for clean towels and toilet rolls. After the first week there was only us and one other couple on the hotel, the breakfast buffet disappeared and we had to ask for what we wanted in the morning and wait for the manager to make it. During a thunderstorm water got into the electrics and set the fire alarm off twice one night. By the last couple of days it was just the two of us and all the sun beds were stacked up apart from 2, the tables and chairs in the dining room were stacked round our solitary table. It felt like we were an inconvenience. We have stayed in better 1* & 2*hotels than this supposedly 4*. On the plus side, the pool area was ok, good for a swim. The little bakery next door had good coffee and bakes. Argassi itself is full off lovely restaurants, cafes and bars. Zante town and it’s nice harbour is about a thirty minutes walk away, or €2 on the local bus.

Firstly hotel staff and location was excellent...... hotel needs updated. Visit from the tui rep would be nice, we got dumped at the end of the road after 10pm. No sign to say where to go, driver from transfer bus just pointed. Pool area was lovely, plenty sun beds with umbrellas. The lady on bar was really nice.... can make a good cocktail. If am gonna complain about anything then it has to be the fact we couldn't use our safe. We was told the manager would sort it on our 2nd day but never.. it wasn't a big deal as we didn't bring many valuables Oh and the shower is very small 🙄

an excellent welcome, we were really very well, the breakfast is very rich and good, the best. super clean rooms and very kind staff, always available. we will return with great pleasure also because it is located in a strategic position. I loved this hotel and I loved Zante

Christos has been super helpful and accommodating during our whole stay in Zakynthos - we would definitely come back because of his amazing hospitality! We had a few issues with our mode of transport and his calm manner has been very reassuring. He offered to help us in every step and made our stay as effortless as possible!

The hotel was a pleasant surprise during my stay in Zakynthos. Its location is excellent, with very short walk to a great bakery, supermarkets, beaches and bus stops. The hotel manger Christos and his dedicated team are super friendly and helpful, always ready to answer your inquiries or book the activities you need. The rooms are comfortable with a high standards of hygiene thanks to the hardworking cleaning ladies. The swimming pool looks clean and a delight to use. Overall 10/10 and definitely coming back!

Ultimately, this is not a 4* hotel. I assume the grading is given based upon the hotel facilities rather than the quality, and to give it credit, the pool area is really lovely. Breakfast is ok, fairly standard for this type of hotel with a selection of meat and cheese, pastries, and some hot (ish) food. The juice was pretty much un-drinkable though, and the coffee machine was ok. We stayed for a week and had breakfast twice, the rest of the time we chose to go into town and had brunch at the very highly recommended Isagra. What really lets the hotel down is the quality of the rooms, and from reading reviews it seems to be that there's an old block and a new block, perhaps the new block is ok, but the old block is pretty awful. Probably the worst room I've ever stayed in, and I usually stay in 2* hotels. The room was extremely tiny, all the furniture very dated, the wardrobe had 5 hangers for two people and no other place to unpack clothes, but the worst was the bathroom. It was small enough that you could take a shower while sitting on the toilet, which you may as well do because once you've showered, the toilet will be under an inch of water for the rest of your stay no matter how much you try to swish it down the drain with your foot. The shower tray is tiny and the curtain makes everything claustrophobic, if the room is intended to be used as a wet room seen as there's a drain next to the toilet/shower, they'd have been better off scrapping the tray and making it function properly as a wet room. The water also tastes extremely salty. I wouldn't drink the tap water on holiday anyway, but in this case you might think you're showering off the sea water as you can taste it running down your face, but then you realise that's the actual water from the shower. I don't know if it's the same for everywhere in Argassi but I haven't noticed it mentioned in reviews for other hotels. I had also contacted the hotel in advance to request a twin bed set up rather than double and was told this would be passed along to the team, but when I arrived it was set up as a double. I had a "garden view" room, and while the patch of grass and a few shrubs are quite pretty, the view is of the rooms opposite, separated by a patch of grass. No privacy at all, and the room we had meant people walked past our ground floor balcony constantly. Had this hotel been advertised as a 2*, I'd have got what I expected, but calling it a 4* (and therefore having to pay the room tax value on a 4* room) meant I was really expecting the rooms to be nicer, and so I would not choose to come back.

There are 2 parts to this hotel. One is great the other was so bad we checked out and paid for another hotel. Furniture broken, filthy dirty, I mean really filthy. Asked Receptionist if we could move to a habitable room, she was really rude and disinterested- basically like it or lump it. Turned out she was the manager too

Lovely time the staff are very friendly n nice, the hotel was lovely too in good location with peppermint restaurant next door highly rated. The hotel has a great pool never crowded as the hotel has only about 50 rooms, rooms are as expected air conditioning etc all included you can smoke on balcony, bathroom as expected as some negative reviews have said floor gets wet when showering this is normal and has draining installed not a negative, I’ve come across it in many hotels even 5 star ones.water pressure was powerful plenty of hot water Breakfast was normal continental and cereal hot was sausage bacon beans egg mushrooms very nice. I would happily stay again we had had a great time in hotel. 2 min walk to fantastic bakery and mini mart and car hire , crazy golf near by with cheap cocktails n beer was great and lovely place plenty off shops restaurants Medical all lovely. Beach was 3 min walk but pebble so water shoes needed sandy 6 min walk away but small still lovely there is plenty off sandy beaches nearby banana beach free bus ride away. We hired a car but quads are the main rental vehicle and an great way off exploring. Overall it’s a great island very friendly and hot never got ill from anything all looked fresh n well presented very large meals in most cases good value
