Beste Hotels mit Bar in Amalfi

Die Amalfiküste gehört für uns zu den schönsten Orten der Welt. Um sie zu entdecken gibt es keinen besseren Ausgangspunkt als das Convento di Amalfi. Das Hotel ist etwas Besonderes und ist wohltuend kein Hotel von der Stange. Die Lage des ehemaligen Klosters hoch über Amalfi ist atemberaubend. Egal ob auf der Terrasse, den Zimmern oder im Infinity-Pool: überall schaut man auf das tiefblaue Meer, die weißen Häuser von Amalfi, den kleinen Hafen und die traumhafte Küste. Das Hotel selbst verbindet Tradition (eigene Kirche, Klosterhof mit Loungemöbeln, Gewölbedecken) mit modernem italienischem Style. Viele Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten, eine Bar mit gut gemixten Cocktails und eine tolle Deko mit ständig frischen Blumen tragen dazu bei, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Die sehr schönen Gartenanlagen laden zum Verweilen ein. Es gibt sogar Hängematten zwischen Zitronenbäumen. Wir hatten eine große, helle und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Suite. Besser geht nicht. Für uns ein absolutes Highlight war die Freundlichkeit und Unterstützung der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption. Egal ob es um eine Weinprobe, Mozzarellaverkostung oder einen Ausflug nach Paestum ging: Man gab immer alles, damit wir eine schöne Zeit hatten. Wir haben uns jeden Abend auf das Essen im Restaurant Di Cappuccini gefreut. Das, was Koch Claudio dort zauberte, war italienische Küche vom Feinsten. Auch im Restaurant war der Service ausgezeichnet. Selten so gut und freundlich bedient worden. Nicht zu vergessen die sehr guten Weinempfehlungen. Man soll ja bei einer solchen Bewertung auch immer etwas kritisches schreiben. Hier fällt uns einfach nichts ein. Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen!

Mein Mann und ich kamen hier für unseren Hochzeitstag, während wir in Amalfi geblieben waren und es war außer wunderbar. Unser Zimmer war schön und sauber mit wunderbaren Blicken und ich war besessen mit der massiven Größe der Badehandtücher! Wir hatten jeden Morgen ein wunderbares Frühstück im Freien, auf dem Strand und Meer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, machte uns Buchungen und stellte alles andere, mit dem wir Hilfe brauchten. Die Lage ist perfekt, zu Fuß zu allem, was Sie in der Stadt wollen, dem Duomo, dem Bus, dem Fähre, dem Strand und den besten Restaurants. Der Poolbereich ist auch sehr schön, nie besetzt und wunderbaren Service dort. Wir lieben den Boutique-Aspect des Hotels, aber erhielten noch 5 Sternenservice. Wir würden dieses Hotel für jeden Besucher von Amalfi definitiv empfehlen.

Myself and my boyfriend stayed at Hotel Residence for 10 days and we would definitely come back if we are ever traveling to the Amalfi coast again. Room - The room was great, however, this is the only area where, if I would ask for anything to be improved, it would be this. When we first checked in we were given the wrong room as we requested a room with a bath tub. This was a honest mistake by the staff and we were given the room we asked for the next day. However, the air con system was broken in the room. We complained about this and was assured a maintenance man would be sent to fix it the following day. In the meantime we were given another room for the night which had air con. When the air con was fixed in our original room it then broke again which meant the hotel provided us with fans and replaced the whole unit itself. Once this was done it worked perfectly, but obviously the constant moving about and heat was a little frustrating. The hotel compensated us for this inconvenience and we were very grateful for their generosity. The room itself was beautiful. The bath tub with jets was great but very powerful! The curtains completely blocked out any sun and the room was cleaned every day. The balcony was lovely for picture taking and people watching. Location - the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Right in the hussle and bussle of the town. The bus stop to Ravello is literally opposite the hotel and the stop for Positano and Sorrento is a little further down. The shop to buy the tickets for the bus is conveniently next door to the hotel which is also where we brought snacks and drinks. Service - the service in the hotel is absolutely superb. Every member of staff is so polite and helpful. The only thing they ask is no hot food being brought inside the hotel and that you leave your key at reception whenever you go out which was no bother to us. My boyfriend actually proposed to me on the trip and he organized a bottle of Prosecco and a fruit bowl to be in the room the night of the proposal. The hotel staff also gave us a bottle of Prosecco when we had issues with the air con which was very generous. They also helped us find out how to buy bus and ferry tickets when we asked. Breakfast - lastly the breakfast. Breakfast was included in our stay however we did not have any other meal at the hotel like the dinner as it was quite expensive for us and not what we preferred to eat. There’s lot of great alternatives in the amalfi town instead. However, the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It’s served in the restaurant 7-10 each morning and you order from a slip what you would like. I had the English breakfast and occasionally the pancakes which were amazing! You’re also given croissants on the table and water and can order whichever hot drink you’d prefer. We really enjoyed the breakfast and thought the variety was great. Overall, we would definitely come back and we absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Residence!

Wir waren vor ca 20 Jahren in diesem Hotel. Es hat sich viel geändert. Die ganze Anlage renoviert, sehr gepflegt und ein perfekter Service. Von Früstück bis Abendessen, Restaurant, Rezeption, Housekeeping usw. ausgesprochen freundlich, selten so erlebt. Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wir waren 9 Tage in einer traumhaften Suite (abseits, Nebengebäude, sehr ruhig). Restaurant. Wir haben oft im Glicine gegessen, hervorragend! Die durchschnittlichen Restaurants in Amalfi lohnen sich nicht.

Nachdem wir nur 2 Tage im Hotel Bellevue Suites bleiben wollten, haben wir uns kurzfristig entschlossen 7 Tage zu bleiben. Wir hatten ein tolles, ruhiges, sauberes, großes Zimmer mit Blick Balkon und Meerblick. Der Balkon bot Platz für Tisch, 3 Stühle und zwei Sonnenliegen. Eine Markise bot Schutz vor der Sonne und zwei mannshohe Benjamini-Hecken Privatsphäre, d. h. man konnte herrlich entspannen mit einem tollen Blick links nach Amalfi und geradeaus über das Meer ins Cilento. Man hatte den ganzen Tag Sonne auf dem Balkon. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Speziell der Seniorchef (spricht fließend deutsch) war stets ansprechbar und gab gute Tipps. Das Personal (Service und Reinigung) war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, z. B. wurde man unaufgefordert beim Ein-und Ausparken assistiert, der Zimmerservice war unauffälig (im positiven Sinne) und zügig und der Frühstücksservice stets nett und schnell. Beim Frühstück konnte man unter verschiedenen Getränken wählen. Außerdem gab es Müsli, Croissants, Brot, Salami, Käse, Obst, Kuchen, etc. Die Bettwäsche wurden häufiger gewechselt und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Rundum können wir das Hotel gut weiterempfehlen und würden es wieder buchen.

Selbstfahrend, Google Maps-Navigation, sehr leicht zu finden. Der Hotelparkplatz bietet unbesiegbaren Meerblick. Die Rezeption ging die schöne Treppe hinunter, als sie den Innenhof betrat. Das ganze Hotel ist auf einer Klippe gebaut, es ist sehr schön, nehmen Sie den Aufzug runter und gehen Sie durch einen kleinen Tunnel direkt zum Meer. Öffnen Sie das Fenster, um das Meer zu sehen, und das Restaurant bietet einen unbesiegbaren Meerblick. Die Angestellten sind sehr freundlich, aber die Stadt ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und das Hotel hat einen Shuttle in die Stadt. Ein perfekter Aufenthalt.

Very pleasantly surprised! A great size bedroom with a balcony overlooking the sea! What more can you ask for? Very very good value. The man at the desk was very kind. Cleanliness was good on face value but it needs a deep clean - quite dusty in high places and the mini bar was disgusting! Throw that fridge away! We didn’t have breakfast included so didn’t eat there so can’t comment on that. It is quite run down - if they can they should invest into it - repaint it in places and replace some of the equipment and they could charge a lot more. Advice to guests - take earplugs as it’s loud outside at night and it’s hard to find as there are no signs! But it’s the big white building above amalfi terminal with 2 amalfi flags on it. To access you need to go the main square and then the steps up by the bank on the left (opposite the church) I’d recommend it!

This review reflects the experience of two well-travelled guests with plenty of world-wide experience on which to base comments. Overview....................this hotel is comfortable with a high standard of service. The building is unique and fascinating. It offers superb views of Amalfi which is only about 10 minutes gentle walk away. Reception..................extremely friendly and helpful. Reception staff speak good English. Requests are attended to quickly. The night porter was on hand immediately at 5.00 a.m. to collect our bags for departure. Our packed breakfasts were waiting for us. Room....................(Superior, Sea View) Lots of space. A large, sitting room sparsely furnished with antiques, opening on to a small balcony with a wonderful view of the bay and the town. Ten stairs up to the bedroom. Very comfortable bed and, again, lots of space. On the minus side, there was no dressing table or mirror of any sort in the bedroom. Sleep quality was very good. Quiet and effective A/C Bathroom.............well appointed but small. A good shower, plenty of hot water. Large bath towels, linen hand towels. Restaurant.....................again, the wonderful view and excellent service from smartly turned-out staff. A wide variety at the buffet breakfast. An interesting dinner menu, well cooked and well presented. Wine by the glass if you prefer. The cloister and courtyard...............................a peaceful area for drinks. Sitting with a glass of wine on a warm moonlit evening was just the sort of holiday memory we looked for. Swimming pool...........................80 steps down. Not a large pool but clean and not crowded. To-your-chair drinks service available. Beach..........the hotel does not have a beach. Finally..................be prepared for a one and a half hour (approx) transfer to/from Naples airport.

Wir waren über den Tag der deutschen Einheit an der Amalfiküste. Die Küste hat eine lange touristische Tradition und so sind auch die Hotels. Wir hatten für ca EUR 300 ein Superior Zimmer mit eigener Terasse. War sehr nett. Die Einrichtung älter aber in Ordnung. Für den Parkplatz wurde noch mal EUR 40 am Tag fällig. Auto braucht man , wenn man an der Küste entlang fahren möchte. Frühstück war o.k. Und Personal war freundlich. Vom Hotel kann man bequem in den Ort zum Abendessen laufen. Hat wohl einen eigenen Strand, haben wir nicht genutzt. Insgesamt also zu empfehlen , wenn man sich die Amalfiküste ansehen möchte.

Stayed at Hotel la Bussola in Amalfi for a week in August with my entire family. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was simply incredible, in all aspects. The front desk staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and nice. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and freshened up daily. Breakfast was delicious with many options and the service staff were also very friendly and attentive. Basically, every single person who works here was great. I do have to call out special attention to the roof top bar. We visited nightly and it was the highlight of each day. Alessandro, Andre and all of those that also helped us were simply fantastic (sorry, I forget some of the names). We enjoyed every minute we spent with them. Drinks were meticulously prepared, unique and refreshing. The appetizers were such a nice surprise each evening. The “Best Shot Ever” was the Best Shot Ever! I believe it was Claudio who made the best Espresso Martini’s we’ve ever had in the downstairs bar. We will certainly visit again and look forward to our next stay. Thank you everyone! Anthony C.
