Fantastic place to stay in Albany. Historic building with very clean rooms and facilities. Friendly and helpful staff and superb location. Free off-street parking. A bit quiet when I was there but being offseason and still not many backpackers in the country it’s not surprising. For me a positive.

Wir haben dieses Hotel aufgrund seiner Nähe zum Train Terminal ausgewählt. Es ist näher an der Marina als auf dem Hügel zum Stadtzentrum, das uns gut passte, vor allem seit wir in regnerischen Regen kamen. Wir blieben im ruhigen Teil des Motels und zahlen, was in der Hintersicht und im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels/Motels wir bei uns zu hoch schienen Preis ($144/night). Unser Zimmer war groß und hatte alle grundlegenden Einrichtungen außer Haarschampo. Alles, was wir hatten, war ein kleines Stück Seife für jeden. Obwohl alles andere da war, fehlte das Zimmer ein Gefühl von Komfort. Noch, wenn Sie nur in der Stadt für eine Nacht oder zwei Sie wahrscheinlich schlimmer machen könnten. Wie bereits erwähnt, ist das Hotel ziemlich nahe der schönen Marina (wenn Sie whalen schauen wollen), und das flash-schauende Unterhaltungszentrum ist auch dort, obwohl im Winter nicht viel zu unterhalten finden. Es gibt eine große IGA in der Nähe, und auch ein paar Restaurants. Wir können einen Indianer empfehlen, nur aus der Hintertür. Wenn Sie kein Auto haben, der Rest der Stadt einschließlich des Besucherinformationszentrums ist ein wenig von Fuß entfernt. Es ist auch ziemlich lange Spaziergang zum interessanten Museum des Großen Südens. Es gab nicht viele Besucher in der Stadt während wir dort waren, und es gab keine Touren während des ganzen Tages, das wir hatten. Also schlossen wir ein Taxi mit einer festen Stundenrate ein und gingen nach Torndirrup Nationalpark, der Geld gut ausgegeben hatte, vor allem seit der Regenstoß eingestellt war. Wir hatten keine Probleme mit Ein- und Auscheck und konnten auch unsere Gepäck für ein paar Stunden verlassen. So war es nicht schlecht im Allgemeinen, aber die Unterkunft war nicht ganz wert für Geld.

Pros - Location is good as it is near to the city and restaurants and cafes are just round the corner. It is also tucked in a quiet corner though it is near to the city - I believe the hotel is newly renovated. The rooms are spacious. - Receptionists are friendly and helpful as they do provide you with many information regarding Albany - Free Parking on site Cons - No lift - The bathroom is huge but the shower cubicle does not have space or shelf or racking to put our toiletries. - The water pressure is horrible as it is so low that I have to use double time to shower. - Complimentary drinks are not being top up even though we stayed 2 nights.

The experience was awesome, the service was best, clean rooms and toilets, the cleaner was so honest, i have left my Apple Watch while visited Albany when i came back the watch was still at the same place where i have left it. I am very impressed by service as well. I forgot to drop towels on the floor so they didnt change the towels, when i came back to hotel and i have noticed the towels didn’t change due to my misunderstanding the receptionist came and drop the cleaned towels in couple of minutes. The staff was amazing and the hotel location was awesome Highly recommend

Albany has a great deal to offer the traveller and we enjoyed our stay at the Hanover Bay Apartments. We had some trouble getting hold of the key box code but this was not the fault of the host, who had been trying her best to contact us. We stayed in the York apartment which has large windows overlooking the bay and the replica sailing ship, Amity. The apartment consists of the kitchen/living in front and the bedroom/bathroom behind. DVDs and books are available and it was a nice surprise to have chocolate! For me, the bedroom was quite dark as there is very little natural light and the view is of the open plan bathroom, but this is just my feeling. We thought we saw a rat in the garden but Jeanette explained that it was actually a Kwenda or small bandicoot, so it was lovely to see some of the local wildlife.

great place to stay - wish we had time to spend longer here. Check in was a breeze with the staff being helpful and friendly. We had a ensuite site which was really easy to get into - one side grass the other side concrete. The park is set out very well so its not crowded at all. The ensuite was really clean and a nice change for us to have. Powered sites are available and easy to connect to. A great place to stay - def recommend
