I was booked to stay there from Dec 20-23. On my first night, one of the hotel staff members tried to enter my room around 430 am. On inquiry, I was told that it was housekeeping person, who was to go to next room to check mini bar and entered mine - by mistake. There was no proactive effort by your Night Duty Manager to apologise and assure me of my safety at that hour nor was the day Duty Manager aware of the issue neither was the GM. After investigation - I did believe this was a genuine mistake, the question is - how could your staff make such a mistake, what is the safety assurance to single women in your hotel, what is the solution and assurance program after such an incident (apart from offering a junior suite upgrade). There was zero empathy and interest from the management of your hotel and they believed that the issue will go away once they upgrade me, which I didn't accept. There was no apology or understanding of the intensity of the situation. The reason I continued to stay is because I believed this was a mistake made by an intern who was left to manage the desk. I need a response from you with - how will you ensure this does not happen again and how do you plan to make me feel heard and reassured?
