這家酒店滿足了我對於歐洲古老酒店的全部期待：房屋就不用説了，很有歷史的建築，傢俱隨便一件都是18世紀的，裝飾物件很古董、對於我這種懷舊感很強烈的人無疑充滿吸引。早餐儀式感十足，食物質量新鮮可口，吃得十分滿足，員工個個優雅大方，熱情周到。酒店環境不用説了，精緻美麗。泳池帶給我們很多快樂和悠閑。當然，這種古老的酒店因房間不大，無法一一週全滿足，比如沒有咖啡茶隨時可以自助等，但是在小鎮中世紀節能夠住上感覺非常幸運。這裏的客人也很優雅有品位，愉悦無比！希望以後有機會還能來這裏。

Tolles Hotel in schöner Lage. Super gutes Frühstück. Oben gibt es einen tollen Pool im Hotel. Super Kompliment an den Service. Wegen des Ausblickes Zimmer im 2. Stock buchen. Zur Anfahrt von unten von der Autobahn anfahren. Die Straßen im Ort sind eng.

If you are considering spending a night in Obidos then I’d highly recommend this hotel! Friendly staff, clean rooms, and a gorgeous view from the pool make this a worthwhile option. My husband LOVED the theming (especially the real lock and key) and the feel definitely matched our expectations of Obidos. If you prefer a more modern feel, make sure to book early in advanced for the renovated rooms located by the pool. Choosing to stay overnight in Obidos was a better choice than a day trip because the crowds and tour groups were gone by the evening. It felt like we had the town to ourselves!

Definitely a quirky (but fun) place to stay, very conveniently just outside the walls in Obidos. The theme of the décor is medieval, and the staff dress in quasi-medieval costumes. The room key was very large, and a staff member came with us to show us how to unlock our door (it was not difficult, just a little quirky). The room itself was furnished with a canopy bed and various antique-looking pieces of furniture, but it had enough outlets that we could charge all the electronics. The bathroom was spacious and had a tub with shower. The hotel has several outdoor garden and pool spaces. On the lower terrace there is a pool that had two terrapins in it, and then up more steps there was a garden and even more steps to the swimming pool. Lovely views all around, and how I wish it had been warm enough in early May to get into the pool! The breakfast buffet was fairly similar to other hotels we stayed in in Portugal, but had as added attractions an orange cake and a chocolate cake and a plate of quince jelly.

This hotel is strange. The medieval decor is bizarre and dated. There was a dank unpleasant smell throughout, but it was particularly bad in our room. There is piped medieval music in all public areas. However it was clean and done of the staff were helpful and pleasant.

Wonderful charming hotel with like new rooms/bathrooms. The nicest hotel we’ve stayed in Portugal so far. Super clean, spacious, nicely decorated, friendly staff. Very close to town walls, walk about 30 ft from the door of hotel. Pool isn’t available until May unfortunately. But would still highly recommend!

Excellent location at a reasonable price. Another option in town (Pousada do Castelo de Óbidos) but it's at least double the price but similar quality. We loved the staff at Hotel Real d'Obidos. The facility and room are very clean. The mattress needs replacement and the ambience needs updating. Breakfast was good although coffee could be better.

When you get the room key you immediately know you are in a unique place. Hall lights automatically come on as you walk. Old but new. Great breakfast. Great staff willing to help. Just outside the Obidos wall; it is perfect: it is memorable. Highly recommend 👍
