HOTEL STAFF were very excellent and courteous. Always helped with any problem encountered. Management and ownership were very professional and acted like they cared about your stay. Concerning the hotel accommodations and Staff interaction I would rate this hotel an EXCELLENT. However, my reason for selecting a 3//5 rating is THE FAULT OF WINDHAM HOTEL CORPERATE for the low score. I would rate them a 1/5. Here's why: 1. They don't seem to care about any customer that books through a non Windham agency. No rewards given at all. (We did stay in their facility didn't we???? Only if booked though them will you get any ”points”. At least give ”some points or rewards”. 2. Their policy on no accepting a virtual card for payment per their ”Out of Country Reservation System” (Real AMERICAN Supporting Corporation, HA!). Most people use virtual cards for safety and security. 3. The facility does not have a ”NO BACKING IN” Policy for parking. That leaves them liable if some one succumbs to Exhaust fumes from vehicles that are parked in backwards with the tail pipe very close proximity of the A/C unites in each room. We were in our room for over 2 hours to take a nap, and when we got ready to leave we had extreme headaches and felt very light headed and woozy. We realized that a vehicle had been backed into the space in front of our room while the engine ran the whole time we were in the room sleeping. The A/C had ****** in exhaust the whole time we had napped. VERY DANGEROUS. When advised the owner HE immediately told us that he would initiate a strict policy against backed in Parking. In talking with some of the staff during the more than sufficient breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, huge waffles, and very delicious breakfast sausage, along with what is often standard for Economy Lodging of other companies of cold breakfast cereal and toast, rolls and perhaps some fruit and yogurt. Nothing too fancy but just what a traveler wants to start the day. Several indicated after we thanked them for the great breakfast that WYNDHAM was indicating that ”breakfast was being phased OUT???? !!!!!. That is probably the one thing that is a determiner of whether to stay or not. NO Breakfast!! NO STAY! I realize that it is probable to say that most of the WYNDHAM Hierarchy has NOT ever stayed overnight in the Days Inn Facilities across the country. I'm sure they stay in the HIGH CLASS hotels instead who have excellent breakfasts usually. Eliminate a good breakfast and eliminate a great many of your patrons. You will for sure get a big -1 rating for that. 4. There is NO place to hang your clothes while staying there overnight or for an extended few days. One likes to be able to hang up the clothes and relax instead of living out of the suitcase. No closet in the room. Only a colored board on the wall with two extremely large L shaped hooks that will not let a shirt even be hung without falling down. Hangers if you have them will not fit on them either. When asked about why the staff personnel simply stated that WYNDHAM removed the closets and replaced them with the ”two useless deformed hooks” (that's last part is my rendition” not what they really said.) When asked why, they said they have no answer simply lots of complaints about it. MY PLEA is: ”WAKE UP WYNDHAM” and stop being like so many corporations are who seem to only care about the ”ALMIGHTY DOLLAR” instead of being there to REALLY serve the public who may not be so wealthy and for whom the ”Economy Hotels” were made for. They still need to be comfortable and usable. l

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a youth hostel that truly stood out for its exceptional qualities. Nestled in a residential area, its location was incredibly convenient, offering a tranquil retreat just a bike ride away from the city center—less than 10 minutes to be exact. This made for peaceful nights, ensuring a restful sleep in a safe environment. The hostel is run by a delightful couple whose hospitality knew no bounds. They were not only eager to assist with any issues that arose but also went above and beyond by providing bicycles. This thoughtful touch significantly enhanced my mobility around Houston, allowing me to reach various destinations swiftly. What set this hostel apart was the attention to detail and the array of complimentary amenities, including cookies, milk, cereal, coffee, and tea. The cleanliness and smart technology throughout the house contributed to a seamless stay, making it the best hostel experience I've ever had. The bathroom towels folded into swan shapes were a testament to the owners' dedication to detail, adding a touch of elegance and care. The warmth of the place was akin to being at home, with the owners always ready for a chat, eager to answer questions, and share their stories and experiences. A highlight for me was the world map on the living room wall, where guests could pin their home countries—a fun and interactive way to connect with fellow travelers. In summary, this hostel was more than just a place to stay; it felt like a home, or perhaps more accurately, a homestay. It's undoubtedly the best hostel I've ever stayed in globally, blending the comfort of a home with the adventurous spirit of a hostel.

Ich habe einen Aufenthalt am falschen Termin planen. Der Manager kostete mir $5. Nicht ein großer Rabatt, aber jedes Stück hilft. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, obwohl es einen starken weißen Geruch hatte. Viele Auftragnehmer und ihre Familien im Hotel bleiben und außerhalb unserer Tür reden bis spätestens um 18.00 Uhr.

Das war die sauberste und schönste Erfahrung, die ich je in einem Budget Motel hatte. Das Personal war wirklich nett. Es war ein sehr besprochenes Wochenende für die Stadt (George Strait) und ich glaube nicht, dass sie gewöhnt waren, in einer Nacht voll reserviert zu werden und das ganze Hotel für die nächste Nacht zu reservieren mit neuen Gästen zu wechseln. Wir kamen ein wenig nach dem Auschecken und sie hatten noch kein Zimmer ganz bereit, aber wir mussten nicht lange warten und sie waren sehr nett und entschuldigt darüber. Das Gebäude wurde unlängst eindeutig renoviert und war sehr sauber. Ich teile die gleiche Beschwerde wie andere Bewertungen über die Dusche, die keine Tür, Garten oder Lippen haben, um das Wasser und Wärme zu fangen. Wir haben die Tür einfach geschlossen und ein Handtuch abgelegt und es war nicht so groß von einem Deal, sondern definitiv ein Designfehler. Die Tür in den Raum hatte auch einige Ausrüstungsfragen. Es gab klare Lücken. Glücklicherweise verursachte dies keine Sicherheits-, Lärm- oder Temperaturkontrollprobleme, aber wieder war dies eine klare Design-/Ausrüstungsfrage. Ich liebe, dass sie ein Firestick TV im Zimmer hatten und ich konnte in meine Streaming-Services registrieren, weil wer mehr Live TV beobachtet? JK JK. Wir waren direkt neben der Autobahn, so dass Sie Autos durchfahren hören. Wenn Sie weißen Lärm beim Schlafen mögen, ist dies ein großer Ersatz, aber wenn Sie sterben müssen, bieten sie kostenlose Ohrschleifen auf dem Desktop! Das Bett war nicht das Beste, aber all-in-all war dies ein guter Ort, um Ihren Hut zu hängen und zu Hause für eine Nacht zu rufen.

Von El Paso/Texas fahren Sie nach San Antonio/Austin. Das Zimmer ist sauber und groß, der Rezeptionservice ist sehr gut und enthält ein reichhaltiges Frühstück.

Eine der besten Lagen auf allen Südpadre. Die Tür meines Zimmers war buchstäblich nur Schritte vom Strand mit Parkplatz genau so nah. Dies machte es sehr einfach zu kommen und gehen ohne Aufzüge oder lange Spaziergänge zum Parkplatz. Auf der unteren Seite waren die Leute auf dem gemeinsamen Frontdeck bis Mitternacht mehrere Nächte in Folge. Sie waren nicht übermäßig laut, aber sie hatten die ganze Zeit Musik spielen. Ich hätte es ohne das tun können, aber es war nicht genug, mich von meinem Aufenthalt zu verhindern. Wenn Frieden und Einsamkeit das ist, was Sie brauchen, sollte man wahrscheinlich überlegen, woanders zu bleiben. Andernfalls ist dies eine ideale Lage zu einem sehr vernünftigen Preis. Ich habe die Bar nicht besucht und es gab keine Nahrungsmittelservice zum Zeitpunkt meines Aufenthalts.
