We was very disappointed but appreciated you get what u pay for however started bad on a day when pouring rain I couldn't get in had to phone by time lady arrived I'd moved car and was soaked. The next thing I discover have to go outside up some wet slippery steps to find even more steps I have arthritis my friend partially sited if I'd known this id not booked. Someone had left window open carpet was soaked and futon not made lady told me normally they didn't put adult in futon and I found out why all I could feel was bars .I slept on floor,. We wanted to go get food in cafe part but discovered it was closed all we had was cheap horrible instant sachets so out we went in rain to find food.my friend had to be escourt down stone steps. Bathroom sink was badly cracked and no plug. And heating wouldn't go on. Breakfast was OK but bacon was cooked to chips and toast rock hard and to be honest staff didn't really care when I returned key they was in huddle chatting not one said goodbye sorry

A nice hotel, well located to visit Banbury with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. Also this weekend there was a fair on the park grounds, near the canal, which was nice to look around. The hotel was 17th century with plenty of character. The staff were friendly and also let us know there was an event on Saturday night, so might be noisier than usual. But we didn't have a problem with that. The room was a good size, although an attic room, a bit hot, as had old windows and secondary DG so didn't let much air in, also a bit of noise from the main road. We were just unlucky with the room. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very nice and tasty and the staff were friendly and efficient. All in all a good stay, just unfortunate about the room.

Sehr schönes Boutique-Hotel mit einer guten Bar und Restaurant unten. Das Zimmer ist schön, sauber, minimalist, aber gute Möbel und anständige Dusche. Nur eine Beschwerde - wenn Sie nicht ein Fan von Kapselkaffee (und ich bin sicher nicht) und Sie nur eine Tasse Tee wollen, es ist eine Schmerz, die Kaffeemaschine zu Google zu arbeiten, um herauszufinden, wie man es verwenden, wenn nur eine einfache Kettle wäre gut gewesen. Nur 4 für die Lage wegen des Chaos an der Botley Road Bridge, die zumindest dieses Mal im nächsten Jahr voranschreitet! Liebe Frühstücksmenü mit guter Service.

We were attending a wedding in Oxford and the city centre hotels were very expensive. The reviews for the Black Boy were good so we booked.  It was a joy to stay here and we had a fabulous weekend..  Great location - about 10 mins in taxi from centre and bus stop about 5 mins or so walk.  Buses went to the city centre and railway station.  The room was lovely, as were the welcoming staff.  Breakfasts were very good and the pub had a nice atmosphere and an outside garden area.  Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Oxford.

Was für ein schönes Hotel. Das Hotel war voller Charakter, den wir adorierten. Die Zimmer waren eine Freude, schöne Dekoration und außergewöhnlich sauber. Wir hatten nicht für Abendessen gebucht, aber der Manager war sehr unterkünftig und hat uns im Restaurant. Das Abendessen war lecker und das Frühstück in unserem Aufenthalt war auch lecker. Wir würden sicher zurückkehren. Ein sehr benötigtes Kind frei Nacht! Danke

A fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and full of character, with views of the street. Breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect—peaceful and picturesque, yet close to the main sights. We would love to come back and recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Easy check-in and great location. The room Is beautiful and the lady at the counter was nice, helpful, and friendly. Would visit and stay again!

Die Zimmerumgebung ist gut, der Restaurantserver ist sehr schlecht, die mitgelieferten Getränke haben uns nicht rausgenommen oder auf der Bühne gejagt, wir haben nicht geholt und trinken nicht, es kam zwei Mal in Folge, dann kam es, dass das Essen noch nicht fertig war, um zu fragen, ob Sie essen wollen, das gesamte Restaurant ist Briten, Bei uns sind wir Chinesen, die sehr diskriminiert fühlen, offensichtlich emotional behandelt werden. Es gibt mehrere Hotels der gleichen Art, die stark nicht empfohlen werden.

Das Hotel ist klein, aber es ist sehr schön und nicht gerade in der Innenstadt, was wir etwas abseits der Masse lieben, 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück ist großartig und der Sitzbereich im Freien ist entspannend.

朝食付きで部屋を予約しましたが、朝食はとても美味しく素敵でした。 ホットドリンク、コールドドリンク、希望の朝食メニューをそれぞれ選べるため、とても満足度の高いサービスだと思います。 ファーリンドンに行く機会があれば、また泊まりたいと思う素敵なパブ兼宿泊施設でした！
