The accommodation was close to the theatre and centre of town. The room was very small, but it was clean and okay for the one night we booked.

Spacious room, nice kitchenette and basic accommodation. The room was a little tired and smelled a bit musty, but very clean and I slept well. Check-in was straight forward enough at the bar and very nice bar staff member. Several buses can be caught very nearby and it’s around 10 minutes into town (£2 single or £4 day pass). I would stay again :)

This is the second time I have stayed here. The location in the middle of high street is ideal for all surrounding amenities The hotel Is very quaint, quirky and comfortable and clean and affordable The staff are very accommodating and breakfast is first class, service is good. I would highly recommend this to anyone

Ganz weit von Durham entfernt etwa 15 Minuten Fahrt ... ruhige Bauernhof. schöne quaint rustik Inn. Nur Grippe ist die Matratze muss in Zimmer 1. es sinkt in der Mitte und ist zu weich. Zimmer n Badezimmer wurde renoviert und das Badezimmer ist schön gemacht !!

Das Personal im Hotel war hervorragend, freundlich und wenn oben und darüber für uns das Frühstück war hervorragend, um wirklich zu genießen unser Aufenthalt wir werden dort in naher Zukunft bleiben wir wieder dort

A very pleasant stay and a nice breakfast the following morning. Barney is a wonderful little town, even if you don't need your eyes tested.

Lovely little stay. It’s my favourite place to stay. The staff are so lovely.
