Hi , YHA Fremantle Prison, Wow! What an amazing experience and im so glad i stayed here, and thankyou so much for being so accommadting and understanding , and well for letting me book with late notice and guided me to after hours checkin, and well the guy who was working after hours on the 31st May Sunday night,...... 💯👌🙏❤️ so welcoming and was down to earth, and made me feel good about the whole.stay and just a very calming presence and over the phone also , very understanding and reassured me to not stress and be safe and to get here when i get here. He was thankful i got there at reasonable hour, cosidering it was after 9pm , was travelling from the city and through the storm so it was 10.30pm maybe a little after 10.45pm,...... and so he was very grateful but very good about me being a late check in , as i rang to make sure i was able to stay without a passport. I.was very happy to find that i could book without passport 🙏🥹💯❤️👌 I had the best night sleep, the best shower before bed, the facilities were amazing and the whole experience was beyond my expectations and exceeded all my thoughts of what was to be. I cant thank you guys enough! I will be back! Im staying longer next time so i can explore the Fremantle Prison as i have wanted to now for many.of years and the canal tour also ive wanted.to always do. The grounds, the care , the information on history , on every wall, evey building, everything was to standard and presentation that was 11/10 👌💯 brillant! I am and was well impressed! And cant wait to stay again and with a little more pre planning and booking earlier on and having a bit more a plan next trip. As my stay at YHA was very last minute , and because i missed my TransWA bus back to Kojonup.....😏 And well my decision to go up to Perth was very last minute and decision made only 2 days prior to going , and so as it was last minute decision and well i had an idea of a plan of where and who to see while up there, as being last minute things always dont go to plan and so when those moments happened i just rolled with the punches and went with the flow of things, and trusted my gut instinct and trusted my journey and the journey in life i am and well was on while in Perth and so all roads had led me to where i was meant to be , and well all fell into plaxe and worked out in the end and so im grateful beyond words! Truely and honestly 🥹🙏❤️💯😊 Thanks again , and wow amazing stay! And highly recommend! Thankyou so much for the feeling of saftey also being a single female traveller on her own. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber angesichts des Preises – über 200 Pfund pro Nacht für ein Hotel, das nach britischen Maßstäben eher einem Travelodge entspricht – hatte ich deutlich mehr erwartet. Das Bett war bequem, die Ausstattung – Geschirr, Besteck usw. – war einfach. Leider mussten wir das Zimmer wechseln, da der Fernseher internetbasiert ist und wir im ersten Zimmer wegen der schlechten Internetverbindung nichts sehen konnten. Auch andere Gäste beschwerten sich über das schlechte Internet. Im zweiten Zimmer ruckelten die beiden Sendungen, die wir sahen, leider ständig, da das Internetsignal sehr instabil war.

I’ve stayed in fair few budget and mid-range hostels, and overall, Cable Beach Backpackers has a really good vibe. The Good Stuff: • Its a perfect Location. Literally walking distance to Cable Beach, restaurants, and bars. There’s also a bus stop right outside that heads into town every 20 minutes, which was a lifesaver. • The staff are so welcoming and easy to chat with. The little on-site bar has great prices, and the outdoor area is awesome—heaps of undercover seating and a brilliant hammock zone. The kitchen is also massive with plenty of room to cook and store your food. • Having good Wi-Fi was amazing, especially since mobile network coverage can be pretty patchy around the area. • I felt completely safe the entire time. I never worried about my personal safety or my belongings, which is always a huge relief when backpacking. The Not-So-Good Stuff (Just being honest): • I was in a 4-person dorm. It’s pretty basic (two bunks and a clothes rack) and felt super cramped once everyone brought their bags in. The biggest issue was airflow. The window wouldn’t open, so even with the ceiling fan and two portable fans blasting, it got really stuffy and stinky. The only way to get fresh air was leaving the main door wide open. While I felt safe enough to do this, it’s still not ideal for privacy or keeping the bugs out. Putting flyscreens on the doors could fix this! • I didn't see any lockers in the room for safely locking away small valuables. If they do have them and I just missed them, it would be great to have them highlighted at check-in, otherwise adding some would be a great upgrade. • There are noise restrictions after 10 PM, but people were still talking loudly, playing music and making noise late into the night every evening. Also, a lot of guests didn't clean up after themselves, so the shared tables and bathrooms were pretty messy a lot of the time. People also ignored the designated smoking areas. Overall, the location, Wi-Fi, and staff are top-notch, and it feels like a very safe spot to stay. I know you get what you pay for but it could still do with a little bit of a reno and better upkeep to stop the shared spaces from getting messy.

Schrecklicher Service! Dies ist das erste Hotel/Motel, das ich jemals gewesen bin, das seine Kunden nicht geholfen hat. Australien hält mich niemals auf, im schlimmsten Sinne des Wortes. Die Situation war so. Wir wollten von Norseman nach Lucky Bay (nahe Esperance) fahren, um Kangaroos und im Ozean zu sehen und dann ins Hotel um 8 Uhr zu prüfen. Aber das Motel konfrontiert mich mit einem vollkommenen Fakten: Eincheckung ist streng von 3 Uhr bis 6 Uhr !!! Nicht eine Stunde später! Sonst werden sie Ihnen die Schlüssel nicht geben, und Sie werden auf der Straße schlafen. Ich hatte physisch nicht die Zeit, so lange zu fahren, aufzuhalten in der Lucky Bay, und ins Motel vor 6:00 Uhr prüfen. , über die ich wiederholt in Privatnachrichten geschrieben habe. Keine Antwort! Die Antwort war die gleiche: wenn ich es nicht tue, werden sie mir die Schlüssel nicht geben. Ich rief die Führung an und bat sie, mich zu begeben, die Schlüssel in der Box zu lassen, erklären, dass ich ein Touristen war, meine erste Zeit in Australien, und würde wahrscheinlich nie wiederkommen, dass ich nicht die Zeit hätte, um die Kangaroos in Lucky Bay zu sehen. Die Hotelleitung hat meine Anfragen zu einem Tauben gedreht. Leider war es unmöglich, ein anderes Hotel zu buchen. Diese Leute im Hotel sind völlig unfähig! Wo hat jemand ein Motel gesehen, das nur eine solche kurze Zeit besetzt? ! Ich hoffe, trip.com Unterstützung nimmt geeignete Maßnahmen.

Great location walking distance from Perth train station. Hostel is staffed 24/7 with day storage for luggage and a huge communal space where you can chill and hang out. Nearby cafes, food, convenience store, post office etc. Very walkable to the main city area and Northbridge. Close to blue CAT bus stop just outside WA Museum. They have a basic kitchen (no stove) with air fryers, microwaves, and kettles and fridge space to store your food but is often crowded during meal times. There is a bar that offer drinks and simple meals within the premises. We had a private twin room with ensuite bathroom, space is good enough for two. Excellent housekeeping, very clean. You can request for a hairdryer if you need, Kudos to reception Eddie who has been very helpful with tourists tips and suggestions. Our second stay here and will highly recommend for tourists on short stays. There are a good mix of tourists and long stayers with the dormitories, I believe.

Very nice size room. The room I booked had a double plus a single bed and a table with 2 chairs. Toaster microwave and dishes. For the price point I can say that this room represents fairly good value for money. I did read another review before booking that states no power next to bed this is false as there is 2 double outlets under the side tables next to the bed. Location is about 25 minutes from the train station. But there is a 808 bus service that runs on this road for very little money. This bus service runs in a loop around every hour. To go to Middleton beach you can catch the 803 service this runs a loop approximately 3 to 4 times per day. There is a McDonald's Coles and Aldi within close walk next door is chicken treat across the road is a good tackle Shop and outdoor sports.

Ein kurzer Busfahrt (2 Std.) wird Sie zu Woolworths für Ihren Gemüsebedarf. Insgesamt ein angenehmes Aufenthalt.

Lovely little motel in Cervantes! Only stayed for a night but would have been happy if I was there longer, lovely and clean, comfortable bed and the restaurant was great!! I had the grilled kangaroo having never tried it before (being from England) and was pleasantly surprised 😊 would recommend this motel to anyone passing through Cervantes.

A nice hostel not too far from Perth city center. Good things I liked: - Comfortable mattress, with a small curtain for a little privacy - Staffs were nice and helpful - common areas, kitchen, and showers/toilets were cleaned daily - Plus point: Breakfast included (simple toasts with peanut butter/Jam/choc spread) - Free coffee and tea (not the best quality but ok) - near bus stop and grocery (Woolworths) Not so good things: - rooms are quite cramped - no signage outside, bit confusing & hard to find for first timers - Most of the furniture and kitchen facilities are quite old - front porch & yard seems messy & unaesthetic - Price-to-quality ratio: ok The free breakfast, nice & helpful staff, kitchen space and social areas make this hostel recommendable. However, needs for hostel signage & revamping of all spaces & furnitures would make it a highly recommended hostel.

A great stay, great location close to the CBD by bus (10 mins) to Perth Central Train Station. Big rooms, very clean, good beds and clean linen. Breakfast for an extra 15.00 AUD. Quiet location, a great park area at the front of the motel. Close walk to the Riverina area of East Perth. Will definitely stay here again. Good price for a nights stay.
