Gastfamilien in Lào Cai, Vietnam

The picture online seemed like the balcony is yours. Didn’t realize it’s a shared balcony. The location isn’t that far from the center but going to the homestay was such a struggle for me with a suitcase. You have to go through stairs and it isn’t really friendly with tourists who have lots of stuff especially suitcases cause the stairs is narrow. The bed looks cute on pictures but it’s hard to move around and plug your phone. No bedside table and the curtains need to be changed because it’s torn and I had to tie it and put a chair just so I wouldn’t be seen from outside.

Dude, Green Sapa Homestay was awesome! The staff were super friendly and helpful, from the moment I checked in to when I left. My room was spotless and comfy, had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had tons of options. Plus, the location was perfect easy walk to the market and restaurants, and close to all the Sapa sights. Seriously, you gotta stay there if you're going to Sapa. You won't regret it!

I actually didn’t stay here. When i came to checkin, the receptionist said there is no room for me (booked and paid online) i came from Noi bai airport to Sapa, i reached around 5.30am at the hotel lobby. I told the receptionist that i will stay only until the checkout time (11am). He said that the person who’s incharge for the booking is drunk and he/she didn’t inform him (night shift). The hotel don’t have computer on the reception area, maybe that why he cannot check and he also look like he have eyesight problem. Bless him. He handle the situation very well. He should get a raise. Dear owner, give him a raise. The person who drunk should be fired, he/she give other staff trouble. This happened today morning 26/6/2024 btw. I gave poor rating for the hotel service but for the receptionist, 5 star.

Отель расположен в отличном месте. В пешей доступности магазины, кафе и кассы канатной дороги на вершину Фансипан. Номера уютные и чистые, персонал вежливый и отзывчивый. Самостоятельное заселение по инструкции было простым и понятным. Рекомендую!

Rein Unterkünfte, sauberes Zimmer, Haartrockner, Klimaanlage, Heizung, Warmwasser, gutes Servicepersonal, freundlicher Besitzer, kommunizieren in Englisch sehr gut, aber der einzige Nachteil ist, auf der dritten Etage bleiben, es gibt keinen Aufzug, Sie müssen auf- und ablaufen, Wenn der Beutel groß ist, müssen Sie ihn ein wenig schwer tragen  Der Besitzer empfiehlt auch einen Ort zu reisen.

Man kann sagen, dass die einzeilige Bewertung dieser Unterkunft eine sehr sadistische Bemerkung ist. In Sapa gibt es tatsächlich Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Fansipan und Cat Cat Village. Wenn Sie eine lange Reiseroute haben, kann es etwas langweilig werden, aber die Unterkunft ist ein Ort, an dem Sie diese Langeweile lindern können. Es ist der beste Ort, um Sun Plaza und Cat Cat Village zu besuchen. In der Nähe können Sie Tee, Mahlzeiten und sogar Massagen erhalten. Wenn Sie den Trubel der Stadt nicht mögen, können Sie in dieser Unterkunft auch ein leichtes Getränk und eine Mahlzeit genießen. Sie können Freunde aus der ganzen Welt treffen und Spaß haben Bei Google Maps ist die Anfahrt etwas seltsam. Auf dem beigefügten Foto gibt es Treppen, die in Pfeilrichtung nach unten führen. Der Innenraum ist sauber und bietet eine für Reisende optimierte Atmosphäre. Wenn ich nach Sapa fahre, werde ich diesen Ort bedenkenlos wieder besuchen, da das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis 50.000-mal besser ist.

Pros - Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns - We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early - The room was very clean & cozy - Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs - Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier - Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not - We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water Cons - We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities - Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.

Our actual experience exceeded our expectations based on the excellent reviews that we already read and received from friends! Really highly recommended to experience the real Sapa!

Hôtel bien placé, bon marché, bon service, mais un peu vieillot et mal insonorisé

Dang Khoa Garden Inn is located right outside Sapa Lake and situated around numerous restaurants. The beds are fitted with bed warmer which made us warmer during the winter season. The walls are not sound-proof so we were awaken multiple times by people talking loudly early in the morning. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay for the price paid.

The whole stay was very comfortable and chill. The place was very cozy. The hotel was all runs by a family. The host Mr. Hong was so nice, he even invited as to join dinner with the whole family and staff. And the garden was so stunning. Architectural design of the place very gothic and very cool to the eyes. Definitely will go back soon.

We had such a lovely stay at the Sapa Farmstay! The local family running the establishment is warm, friendly, and hospitable. We ate dinner with them twice—the food was beyond delicious and fresh, and I loved the family-style atmosphere during mealtime. The rooms were just like the photos: comfy, clean, and well-decorated, with plenty of hotel-style amenities! The only minor drawback was the hot water…it was quite cold in Sapa during our visit in January, and the hot water never lasted more than 3 minutes or so during showers. This was a minor issue, though, and we will for sure re-book when we return to Sapa again!
