The compound and apartment are both very nice. Check-in was not difficult for us but only because we used WeChat and spoke Mandarin. Amenities were sufficient, though the kitchen lacked a microwave. The kitchen initially also lacked cooking supplies but our host provided them upon our request. The host is very responsive on WeChat. The compound has a playground and a few shops, and there are plenty of small restaurants just outside the compound. The location of the compound is right across the Chaobai river from Beijing, very close to one of the three bridges in the area. Crossing the bridge into Beijing by car requires passing a border check station which is slightly inconvenient as a foreigner since you will likely be required to go into the station to register every time. However, after the first crossing, subsequent crossings were very fast for us (1-2min processing time) and our rideshare drivers waited for us with no problems. Most of the time, the compound is ~20-25min by car to LuCheng subway station in Beijing, which is currently the closest subway station to the compound. However, during the morning rush hour on workdays, the border check station going into Beijing will have traffic jams up to 30+min. A rideshare (DiDi or Hello Ride) to/from LuCheng subway station costs around 20-30CNY each way. There are also public buses that go directly to/from LuCheng subway station but they only run during rush hour, and passengers still have to get off at the border check station for processing. This border check station is currently a big inconvenience, but current road and subway constructions in the area may alleviate this inconvenience in the near future. Currently, it is difficult to find short term apartment rentals that accept foreigners in/near Beijing, so this stay was great value for money, despite us having paid ~2-3x the cost of rent for locals, it was still priced below tiny rooms in most Beijing hotels.

This inn was a highlight of our trip with how kind and accommodating everyone there was. It was only a 3 minute walk to the great wall entrance. It is ran buy the owner and his family and they were super helpful during our time there. The inn was not very busy when we came so the owner let us pick our room which was way bigger than we expected. Very large walking space and it came with a twin bed and a twin XL which were both big enough (my fiance is 6'6 and fit on the twin XL just fine). The shower was also very big and had both handheld and rainfall shower heads. The inn also serves breakfast made in house for 20 RMB (almost 3 dollars) and portions are huge. They let ur order lunch as well and we were able to request breakfast items which was great because I couldn't eat meat at the time and wanted to eat eggs. They had served us with these super beautiful china plates with the Jingshanling great wall on them and let me keep them for free which was very sweet. The day we left, our train departed late afternoon and they let us stay in our room even past check out. The owner also drove us to the Gubeiko train station and when we found out the train canceled he drove us 1 hour away to miyun for a very affordable price so we could bus back to beijing. I found this place to be one of my favorite places I have stayed in China because it feels just like you are staying in your grandparents home with how accommodating and nice everyone is. I really recommend if you want to support a local business while also getting a super clean and big room right next to the great wall!

Our stay at Shanhai Premium Guesthouse was an incredibly peaceful and rejuvenating experience! The mountain surroundings were absolutely breathtaking, with fresh crisp air that immediately washed away all our city stress. The room was cozy and well-designed, featuring traditional Chinese elements blended with modern amenities. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was perfect for exploring the Wuling Mountain area, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds and seeing the misty mountain views every morning. The hiking trails nearby were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the landscape. Although it was a bit remote, that was exactly what we were looking for - a true escape from urban life. The local breakfast was delicious and featured fresh, organic ingredients from the area. We particularly enjoyed the evening stargazing, as the night sky was crystal clear away from city lights. This place is absolutely perfect for couples seeking a romantic getaway or anyone looking to reconnect with nature. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem to all our friends and family, and we plan to return again in the different seasons to experience the changing beauty of the mountains. Am 13. Juni gab es aufgrund des Wetters ein Jockey-Fußgängerprogramm auf, um eine Gruppe von Leuten im kleinen Roten Buch zu sehen, die gefroren wurden. Die Leute, die am Abend in dieser sehr interessanten Familie verblieben sind. Ich weiß, dass die Quelle des Namens dieses Gästes sicher nicht klein ist. Der Chef ist super freundlich und hilft uns auch, den Park zu befehlen. Die Leute tragen einen kleinen Hof mit, der Blumengras im Garten ist gut gepflegt. Es gibt Weinstock und afrikanische kleine Fleischsorten mit vielen Augen und grünen Namen. Am nächsten Morgen um sieben Uhr war es begeistert, dass die kleinen Fische, die in einem kleinen Pool unter der Sonne geflogen sind, und die Labrador, die auf dem Boden die wunderschöne Haut zeigte, auf dem Boden zu treten. Das ist der Spaß, den der Wind aus dem Weg zu bringen.

Att åka till Jinshanling för att se muren och bo på detta hotell var utan tvekan mitt bästa beslut under hela min vistelse i Kina. Servicen är helt otrolig och de vill verkligen hjälpa till med tips och matlagning för att vistelsen skulle bli så bra som möjligt. Jag blev uppgraderad till ett större rum då det fanns sådana lediga. Jag förstår inte hur inte fler människor bokar detta hotell för det är verkligen otroligt. 2 minuter promenad ner till entrén till muren så det är perfekt om man vill se både solnedgång och soluppgång. Man kan även se muren från hotellet! Tveka inte utan boka detta hotell nu!!

Super sauberes B&B, der Besitzer ist sehr unkompliziert, sehr zu empfehlen! Auch der Mülleimer wurde leer gewischt. Die Bettwäsche war sehr weich und fühlte sich heimelig an. Mein Mann sagte, er habe sehr gut geschlafen! Das Essen ist auch sehr lecker, gut! Der Sternenhimmel war in der Nacht zuvor wunderschön. Am nächsten Tag stand ich früh auf, um den Sonnenaufgang zu sehen, und es schneite tatsächlich. Was für eine unerwartete Überraschung! Wir haben die gesamte Große Mauer von Jinshanling gebucht und Jinshanling mit in der Sonne fallendem Schnee gesehen. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt!

Unter allen B&Bs, in denen ich übernachtet habe, gehört dieses hier definitiv zu den Top 3. Berücksichtigt man den Preis, ist es sogar die Nummer eins in Bezug auf das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Familie, die das B&B führt, ist sehr herzlich, besonders die älteren Leute sind sehr lebhaft. Der Besitzer hat uns geholfen, ein Taxi zum Ausgangspunkt für die Wanderung zur Großen Mauer von Jinshanling zu organisieren. Für 10 Yuan pro Person und Strecke wurden wir direkt hingefahren. Der Minivan war viel bequemer als der Shuttlebus, aber man hätte auch zu Fuß gehen können, es ist nicht weit. Wenn ich einen Nachteil nennen müsste, dann wäre es, dass die Toilettenartikel nur durchschnittlich waren. Aber wenn man den Zimmerpreis bedenkt, ist das vernachlässigbar.

Everything about my stay at Tinglan Holiday Villa was excellent. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, very comfortable and spacious, and the location is great. There is a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, and shops all within a short walking distance. The beach is also easily accessible, about a 15–20 minute walk from the apartment. The service was especially outstanding. As a foreign traveler without a Chinese phone number, I sometimes had difficulty finding information online or arranging certain things on my own. My host was incredibly helpful throughout my entire stay, assisting me with check-in, transportation, check-out, and providing all the information and support I needed. This made my experience so much easier and more enjoyable. The arrival process in Aranya was also very smooth and well organized. I was genuinely impressed by how well managed the whole community is. Aranya is a wonderful place to slow down, relax, and enjoy the beach in a peaceful atmosphere. I had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend Tinglan Holiday Villa, especially to international travelers who may need a little extra help navigating things in China.

Value for money accomodation. Very clean by a singaporean's standard Location is directly opposite the fulong four season town物业服务中心 canteen, open for breakfast lunch and dinner, if you are too tired to head to chongli town after a full day of skiing. Boss lent me his card so i could get discount at the canteen. The location is ideal, a few stops by internal shuttle bus to fulong ski resort, shuttle bus stop is just downstairs. And it takes bout 10 mins to walk to chongli town where there is plenty of restaurants and ski equipment rental. I rented my entire set of ski equipment from the boss' shop, he gave me a good discount as i was staying for a long period. It is the cheapest rental i saw in the whole chongli town. And his ski equipment are newly purchased from french brand rossignol and very clean. Other than that, boss also offered two way transport to chongli railway station and helped with booking of ski tickets, ski instructor etc. He even recommended a good sports massage place to me after i had sore muscles from skiing! Basically, you just need to book accomodation thru boss and he handles the rest for a stress-free ski holiday!

Wir sind eine vierköpfige Familie und haben eine Nacht in zwei Zimmern verbracht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und obwohl sie weder Englisch noch Spanisch sprachen, bemühten sie sich, über einen Übersetzer mit uns zu kommunizieren und waren jederzeit für unsere Bedürfnisse da. Sie versorgten uns auch außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten mit Mahlzeiten und konnten uns sogar nach Luanping bringen, um einen Bus nach Peking zu nehmen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war ausgezeichnet und die Lage war ideal, um zu Fuß zum Eingang der Chinesischen Mauer bei Jinshangling zu gelangen. Wir fuhren am Samstagnachmittag hin und kamen gegen 15 Uhr an. Es war eine gute Wahl, da wenig los war. Es ist eine wunderschöne Gegend. Ein sehr empfehlenswerter Ausflug. Auf dem Rückweg war es dunkel, aber wir liefen problemlos etwa 30 Minuten zum Hotel zurück. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100 %.
