Location in downtown Baltimore was excellent, a block from the Convention Center, across the street from a subway station and 2 blocks from a light rail station - subway runs east-west ( including the Inner Harbor) and light rail runs north-south for over 40 miles with 1/2 hour direct connection to/from the BWI Airport. - one way tickets on both are $2.  My corner room on the 9th floor was spacious with good views. I had business all afternoon in the area with no car - when I asked if I could check my luggage 4 hours before check-in time, they actually checked me in then and there and gave me my room key at noon.  The lobby is elegant and the the room rate was very reasonable for a downtown location hotel.

Es war sauber. Wir schliefen gut. Der Service war schön, aber die Einrichtungen waren enttäuschend. Ich habe auf Fotos basiert, aber der Pool war voll von grünem Goo und es gab keinen Pooltisch wie abgebildet! Das Frühstück war gut außer keine Eier und Sie mussten um einen Joghurt bitten! Wenn wir eine Sekunde fragen, wurde uns gesagt: „keine Mas“!

This was a short, one evening stay, out by 8am the next morning. I am rating this as a two star hotel, as it was what I wanted to keep everything in perspective. The location for me was perfect, as we were visiting the Cult Classic Brewery for an event. It was extremely convenient. The hotel wasn't busy, but check-in and check-out were efficient. The front desk was pleasant and fulfilled any questions I had. Our 2nd floor room was quiet and very new looking. I believe this is a ”newish” motel, and everything was very fresh inside. All room amenities worked, or did what they were supposed to do. I say this because too many motel rooms have outlets, USB ports, even lamps etc that don't function... so I don't take anything for granted. Everything was perfect in our room, just like it is supposed to be. This was a pleasure!!! This motel sits close to HWY 50 but we heard absolutely no road noise this time of the year. The location was convenient as I stated for our event, and even more so because a great restaurant was right across the street. If we walked 100 feet that was a lot, so we didn't need to move the car. The front of the motel faces toward the west (rear to the east) so we got a piece of the setting sun, and in general the ambiance of being so close to the water. There was also the Kent Narrows Christmas tree exhibit right across the street as well as the Fisherman's monument. So, a bit of fun items to view without needing to get in the car. The morning breakfast at the motel was included, and contained all the standard breakfast fare we have come to expect. While not busy, it was served as you would want it and neat and orderly. All and all, the hotel added to this short, get away trip from the Baltimore area nicely.

Ich werde mit dem Guten beginnen. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Bett war komfortabel. Jetzt das nicht so gut. Wir haben dieses Hotel speziell gewählt, weil sie auf der Website angekündigt haben, dass es einen Pool, eine Heizungstube, kostenloses Frühstück und Kaffee im Lobby. Wir besuchten unsere Enkel und wollten den Pool, damit wir sie zum Schwimmen bringen konnten. Wir waren nicht überrascht, als wir erzählten, dass sowohl der Pool als auch der Heißräder ständig geschlossen wurden, und der Kellner hat sogar erwähnt, dass sie wussten, dass es immer noch als auf der Website angekündigt wurde. Wenn wir das Frühstück kostenlos gefragt haben, wurde uns gesagt, ob wir das Frühstück wollten, das war eine zusätzliche Gebühr, wieder, einige falsche Werbung geht voran. Als mein Mann am nächsten Morgen in die Lobby ging, um Kaffee zu holen, keine Überraschung, gab es keine, nur ein Kunststoff-Saft Wasser. Es gab einen Kaffeemacher im Zimmer mit 1 Pode, also haben wir das verwendet. Wenn wir um eine Ausgleichszahlung für die falsche Werbung gefragt haben, wurde uns gesagt, nein. Wir hätten dieses Hotel nicht gewählt, wenn nicht wegen der Tatsache, dass sie den Pool, die Heizungsrohre und das Frühstück kostenlos angekündigt. Oh und nur um einen Knopf auf sie zu setzen, gingen wir zur Bar für eine 12-oz-Bleistift. $7.25 für 1 Bier, 12.00 für ein Glas Wein, dachten wir, dass es ein wenig tief war, vor allem, da die Bar in der Lobby war ohne Atmosphäre. Wenn Sie nur einen Schlafplatz suchen, werden Sie in Ordnung sein.

I booked an overnight reservation for my husband's birthday celebration. The entire experience was unique and simply outstanding in every way! We were made to feel VERY SPECIAL by each and every staff member with whom we engaged. We were CONTINUALLY welcomed throughout the stay from the person who opened the car door and greeted us by name to the very knowledgeable concierges, the room service staff, the culinary staff, the bellman, the driver, Lottie Dottie and EVERYBODY! The hotel was very clean and beautifully adorned with pictures, books, furniture, plants and artifacts that told the story of the hotel. This includes the very accommodating bedroom with a comfortable canopy bed and a pristine, spacious and updated bathroom. One could ALWAYS count on soul-stirring music playing in the background of every public space. Each tune moved us to murmur the lyrics regardless of where we were and what we were doing. Ever had a snack attack? No worries! The room was well stocked with a variety of goodies and beverages to soothe those evening urges. And, finally, let me praise the food selections offered to us at teatime and breakfast. Homemade jam, almond butter, muffins, oat flapjacks, chicken sausage, eggs, and more! This was quite an awesome getaway! And, yes, we would do it all over again!

The hotel is new, clean and there's a very nice breakfast. It's a city hotel, so the room was smaller than other Hampton Inns, but comfortable with nice amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, usb ports) and a big TV. Home2suites shares the building and the floor. The self-parking is expensive ($20/day) and is a walk up a hill to a public lot.. The valet staff was nice and let me unload and check-in before parking. The front desk staff, however, was remote and unfriendy. It wasn't explained how parking worked - other than that the charge would be added to the room. It meant a trudge back to the car in a thunderstorm to get a ticket previously left in the car. It is to be validated at the front desk. I won't be going back. There was no maid service for a 3 day stay. Service is supposedly ”every other day.” I had to ask for extra towels and put trash outside the door when the baskets were full. (I also know nose rings are popular - but people wearing them are hard for me to look at. After seeing too many kids with runny noses, what looks like metal buggers coming out of people's noses, gives me a startling bad physical reaction - Sorry - can't help it.)

Als wir ankamen, hatten wir keine Navigation, so war es wunderbar, das große Zeichen von der Straße zu sehen. Check-in ist auch 24h, die wirklich uns hilfreich, als wir spät ankamen. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was wir brauchten und umfasste 3 Powerpoints unter den Tischlampen. Es wäre schön gewesen, hellere Lichter, da es ein wenig dimm war, aber die Lampen halfen, die Beleuchtung zu konzentrieren. Alle Mitarbeiter und Hauspflege waren freundlich, aber ich wünschte, dass die Frontdesk mehr Wissen für Überseereisende hatte. Es ist auch bequem in der Nähe eines Einkaufsbereichs gelegen. Wir haben unsere Reisende eSIM-Karten aus dem nahe gelegenen AT&T-Shop. Ich konnte die Einrichtungen nicht nutzen.

Das Hotel liegt neben Gaithersburg Square. Es gibt einige Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, aber im Grunde ist es praktisch, ein Auto zu haben. Die Kellner reinigen das Zimmer nicht jeden Tag. Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.
