Welcome to the Fit For Food 4K Fitness Race! Join us for the Fit for Food 4K Challenge, inspired by a recent post from the Pictou County Foodbank highlighting their need for canned protein sources. This event is all about getting active and giving back to our community! Get ready for a fun day featuring a 1 km run, Farmers Carry, lunges, weighted front squats, and more, covering a total distance of 4 kilometers. Not feeling up for the strength exercises? You can walk or run the 4 km at your own pace without participating in that part. We’re also excited to offer a children’s 1 km race and a fun obstacle course, ensuring everyone can join in on the action! Plus, you can participate as a team, making it a great outing with friends and family. Best of all, registration is a donation to the Pictou County Foodbank, helping them provide much-needed support to those in need. Let’s come together to make a difference while having a blast!
