Es war ein tolles Hotel, weil es Spaß gemacht hat, mit einem Shuttleboot, das rund um die Uhr verkehrt, zur Insel hin und her zu fahren, und man vom Balkon aus die wunderschöne Landschaft der Halong-Bucht sehen konnte. Ich hatte Vollpension gebucht und war sehr zufrieden mit der Vielfalt an vietnamesischen Speisen und Früchten, die zu allen drei Mahlzeiten pro Tag angeboten wurden.

Close proximity from the custom/port as its just few minutes walk. Makes it really easier for people who needs to enter China or Vietnam, or vice versa. The staff also spoke Mandarin considering the proximity to China.

We booked the hotel because Best Western Sapphire Hotel cancelled us at last minute with no reasonable excuses and the hotel is close to Van Don Intl Airport. It is fairly new hotel and not anywhere close to amenities. They have big plans for Ha Long Bay, but maybe in 5 years, this hotel will be popular. We were directed to a local cafe with local meals. It was great! Fried chicken!!! Then when we walked back to hotel, we asked for ice. Instead of 2 glasses, we received a pitcher of ice. The breaksfast was so nice. Wished they would asked how our eggs would be cooked though. We checked out and our taxi was waiting for us. Only took 10 minutes to arrive at Van Don International Airport.

The cruise is very nice and clean. The room is spacious and has very nice view. The service is good. They have activities for guests to enjoy like kayaking, cooking class, and dark and bright cave visit. The food provided is somehow decent for me comparing to the price I paid. For 2 days 1 night, they provided a buffet lunch, a set menu dinner and light breakfast and brunch on Day 2. But overall, it was a good experience.

Ich hatte einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Das Frühstück war köstlich und das Personal unglaublich hilfsbereit. Das Dach bot eine wunderschöne Aussicht und das Restaurant hatte eine gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre des Hotels war reizend. Allerdings muss ich meine Enttäuschung über den Feueralarm zum Ausdruck bringen, der in den frühen Morgenstunden mehrmals ohne Erklärung losging. Das hat meinen Aufenthalt ziemlich gestört. Trotz dieses Problems kann ich dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen. Abgesehen davon besuchte ich das Spa neben dem Hotel, „Nature“, und obwohl die Dienstleistungen ausgezeichnet waren, war ich schockiert, als ich von ihren Arbeitspraktiken erfuhr. Es ist entmutigend zu wissen, dass das Personal ausschließlich auf Trinkgelder angewiesen ist, ohne ein angemessenes Gehalt zu erhalten. Teure Dienstleistungen ohne faire Vergütung für die Mitarbeiter anzubieten, ist inakzeptabel und trübt das Erlebnis eines ansonsten angenehmen Aufenthalts im Hotel. Viele Leute gehen dorthin, aber sie unterstützen diese Arbeitsausbeutung.

Really good experience. We got upgraded to honeymoon suite which was amazing. We actually extended our stay but the second night had one of the suites which wasn’t as spacious or clean. But the excursions and the views were just out of this world. Highly recommend doing the 3D2N as you can go to one of the local villages on cat ba island and cycle around. The staff were friendly especially Jannie. She spoke the best English.

Das Essen ist durchschnittlich, aber die Lage und die Aussicht sind großartig. Es ist das Beste! Das Personal spricht nicht gut Englisch, ist aber sehr freundlich. Ich möchte auf jeden Fall bei nächster Gelegenheit wiederkommen.

Not a 5 star hotel more like a 4. Food and attention to detail just not there. Pros - gorgeous hotel very modern and new got free upgrade to a larger room with a great view of halong bay however was a bit misleading as you can hear all the music very loudly in our room as it was two floors down from the pool bar so think they just needed to fill it haha. Gorgeous view from the rooftop pool too. Staff were nice and helpful despite the large language barrier thank god for google translate beds very comfy and room clean. Also our room had a bath and separate shower which was great as most hotels don’t Cons - food was shocking we ordered a few different things as there’s not much in the area and we were knackered most evenings after long days exploring honestly don’t know why we kept ordering haha it’s our own fault but everything was bland and tasteless and SO expensive like £6 for some unseasoned chips £7 for a frozen burger £8 for some fried rice with 0 taste. So disappointing every time we got something the cocktails are expensive too and very basic not horrible but just basic something you’d expect in a 3 star all inclusive resort. Then just little things that make it a 4 not a 5 like the food tray being left outside our room for hours on end, there being loads of sticky fingers prints on touch points like the elevator buttons / toilet doors. Didn’t ruin our stay at all we had a lovely time at the hotel just wish we’d eaten elsewhere Also would suggest to stay on the other side of the bridge if you’re coming to halong bay as this side is super dead and quiet not a lot of shops or anything to do.

Ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Der Balkon des extra gebuchten Zimmers mit Meerblick bietet eine tolle Aussicht und die Hardware-Ausstattung des Hotelzimmers ist sehr neu und gepflegt. Der Check-in an der Rezeption verlief sehr schnell und der Service war großartig. Manager Pham Thanh Nam half mir nicht nur beim Einchecken, sondern stellte mir auch begeistert die Hoteleinrichtungen vor. Er bestätigte mir auch, dass es kein Problem gab das Zimmer und stellte die Zimmerausstattung vor. Das Hotel liegt auch sehr günstig zu den umliegenden malerischen Orten und in der Nähe gibt es auch köstliches Pho Bo, zubereitet vom einheimischen Lao Andy. Es war ein perfektes Unterkunftserlebnis. Ich werde es wieder buchen, wenn ich in Zukunft nach Halong City komme!
