GGastnutzerThe food amenities need significant improvement. As this is a resort, dining is an essential part of every guest's experience. Offering a buffet for both breakfast and dinner would greatly enhance guest satisfaction, along with providing a wider variety of food options.
I would also like to commend the room service staff. They are incredibly hardworking, professional, and provide excellent service. However, it is disheartening to see how overworked they appear, especially having to deliver meals to every room throughout the day. They deserve greater recognition, respect, and fair compensation for the physically demanding work they do. Their daily wage does not seem to reflect the effort and dedication they put into serving guests.

NNICOLAS BARBERAI truly enjoyed my stay there.
When I arrived at 9:00 a.m., the staff did their best to prepare my room. I was aware that the official check-in time is 3:00 p.m., but they kindly allowed me to check in around 12:00 p.m., which I really appreciated.
The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant staff were all wonderful. Everyone was smiling and working with genuine care and dedication.
I would like to express my special thanks to the restaurant staff, the reception staff, the housekeeping team, and also the staff who always open the door at the entrance.

There is just one small thing I didn’t like: my room was located very close to the elevator, so it was a bit noisy.
Aside from that, everything was perfect. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to travel to Tacloban.

TThat girl abroadUnfortunately, I wasn’t even able to stay at this place. I couldn’t get hold of anyone from the resort and ended up stuck in town at night without transport. I even tried their facebook page. Leyte is not the easiest place to get around, especially as a foreigner, and communication is really important.
I strongly feel there should be a message from the resort before arrival to check in with guests and help arrange transport if needed. That small step would make a huge difference and prevent stressful situations.
I traveled specifically to Leyte for whale shark watching. While I was on the tour, the guide mentioned that Kuting Reef actually offers whale shark excursions themselves. Knowing that beforehand would have saved me a lot of stress trying to organize separate transport to the activity.
Better communication and clearer information about available excursions would really improve the guest experience.
I am so bumped I missed out on the opportunity to experience this stay.

MMiss SigWe had to ask the front desk staff to transfer us to another room because the aircon unit wasn’t working. There’s a water dispenser at the 3rd floor. Breakfast is buffet; not much selection but it’s okay to get you by. No elevator as well.
Location is great. 24 hours open Andok’s and supermarkets are near. ATM machines are everywhere.
Must visit restaurants: Ocho; Prakaz bbq; Fahrenheit food Center. The hotel restaurant is a good place to dine too. Huge servings and tasty. Very friendly staff also.
Full of cute and antique stuff in this hotel which are definitely collectors items; very interesting.
Tip: if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room not on the street side as the vehicles tend to be very noisy since the rooms are just until the 4th floor.

Ggibo_27Location is great - just beside robinsons Tacloban mall and also relatively near the airport. Room is clean and just right for solo travellers or if you are just staying in for a night. Hot shower is available. Staff are friendly. Service is okay. Would have been great if early check-in was allowed. Most were asked to wait for the 2pm check-in time. But overall, the room and service is okay for the price.

MMark Ryan TorrenteInsgesamt ist es immer ein schöner Aufenthalt mit Summit Hotel. Ich habe seit 2023 jedes Jahr mit demselben Hotel verblieben. Sie gab mir eine späte check-out, weil das Zimmer noch nicht bereit war.
Das Hotel ist strategisch gelegen und sehr zugänglich. Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgezeichnet. Pool ist schön. Der einzige Nebenteil ist kein Fitnessraum. Ich hoffe, dass sie es machen können.
Während meiner Aufenthalte dieses Mal war ich durch ein Dreh- und Dumping auf der Wand im nächsten Zimmer um 3 Uhr wach! Es war nur ein Bummer Coz, dass ich nicht nachher schlafen konnte. Ich berichtete es am nächsten Tag und sagte mir, dass etwas nicht stimmt mit der AC in der nächsten Tür. Und gab allen Zimmern bekannt, dass sie während des Tages einige Wartung haben und vielleicht etwas Lärm hören.
Andererseits ist es ein toller Aufenthalt immer. Ich werde immer noch den Aufenthalt mit dem Summit Hotel überdenken.

GGastnutzerDas Hotelzimmer war großartig, sehr sauber und überstieg meine Erwartungen. Es waren Kleider hängen und die Blätter waren schön und scharf. Das Bett war fest und die Kissen waren weich. Das Frühstück war meh. Es war tief gebratener Fisch und kalter Reis, das Brot wurde nicht gefüllt und die geschroteten Eier waren nicht sehr appetitvoll. Die Lage wäre schön gewesen, da es in der Nähe des Flughafens ist, aber wenn Sie aus dem MacArthur Park kommen, müssen Sie ziemlich weit fahren, um eine legale U-Turn zu machen, und um die Dinge schlimmer zu machen, gibt es keine Parkplätze im Hotel. Sie hatten 4 Slots, 1 wurde von ihrem Shuttle und der Rest von Autos besetzt, die wahrscheinlich schon eine ganze Zeit lang da war, beurteilt durch den Staub auf den Windschutzscheiben.
