I would only recommend this hotel for short stays—definitely not for anything more than 2 nights. My 8-night experience had several issues that made it far from comfortable for a longer stay. From the start, there were small issues that should have been easily resolved but weren’t. The chair in my room was broken and never replaced. The in-room safe was locked, and when I requested help, I was told that the previous guest had locked it. I found it strange that the hotel didn’t have a master key or a proper way to reset the safe—it’s basic hotel management. There were also a couple of mini cockroaches spotted in the toilet. While I only saw two or three during my entire stay and the room was generally clean, it still points to a lack of proper pest control. A major letdown was the lack of water heaters throughout the hotel. This is a basic amenity, and after checking, I found that all the neighbouring hotels do offer hot water for bathing. It’s quite disappointing and uncomfortable, especially when staying for multiple nights. Breakfast was another area that needed improvement. It’s not a buffet or continental spread as one might expect, but rather a limited Indian breakfast menu. Even when there were only two guests, the wait time was 15–30 minutes for a simple meal. The taste was very good, though, so that deserves some credit. Location-wise, there’s a McDonald’s and a fantastic mandi restaurant called Al Zara just a 5-minute walk away, which was a plus. The staff are generally quiet and keep to themselves, although the receptionist usually greeted me, which was nice. However, the checkout experience really soured my impression. I had a night flight and went to the office during the day, so I checked out in the morning and asked to store my luggage. Shockingly, there was no proper storage room. I was just told to leave my luggage near the small reception counter, which felt extremely unsafe—especially since the receptionist isn’t always there. While they mentioned a CCTV was present, it’s a huge risk if something were to go wrong. Later that evening, I came back to collect my luggage and asked for a toothbrush to freshen up before my flight. To my shock, the receptionist and housekeeping actually discussed whether they should charge me for it—even though I only requested a replacement toothbrush once during my entire 8-night stay. Thankfully, they didn’t charge in the end, but the fact that it was even up for discussion left a bad taste. All in all, while the hotel had some good points like the food taste and room cleanliness, the lack of basic amenities, poor after-checkout hospitality, and questionable service decisions make it hard for me to recommend this place—especially for longer stays.

Tolles Hotel in zentraler Lage (mit Anbindung an die Grüne Linie der U-Bahn) mit freundlichem Personal. Das Frühstück war fantastisch und bot viel Abwechslung und Auswahl. Das Personal hat uns einen besonderen Kuchen geschenkt, da wir während unseres Aufenthalts unseren Hochzeitstag gefeiert haben. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Hotel anscheinend unterbesetzt ist, was sich während der Stoßzeiten, insbesondere während der Check-in- und Check-out-Zeiten, bemerkbar macht.

The room was clean. Furthermore, when arranging a taxi to the airport, they suggested a suitable departure time that took into account the traffic conditions in Bangalore. I found them to be very professional. Thank you.

Das Zimmer war ein Heiligtum von Komfort und Eleganz, mit modernen Einrichtungen wie einem Flachbild-TV, einem iPad für die In-Room-Anpassung und Ayurvedic Toiletten, die einen Touch von Luxus zu meinem Aufenthalt hinzugefügt. Eines der Standortmerkmale war der unverschämte Service. Die persönlichen Butler waren aufmerksam, aber unverschämt, um sicherzustellen, dass jeder Bedarf mit Grace und Effizienz erfüllt wurde. Die Mahlzeiten waren ebenso beeindruckend, mit einer Vielzahl von Küchen, die auf jeden Palast gepflegt waren. Lage: ausgezeichnet viele gute Restaurants um. Essen: Frühstück unter dem Durchschnitt, obwohl die Verbreitung guter Service ist: obwohl der Eincheck, der Auscheck war reibungslos, das Zimmer wurde am 2. Tag des Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. We had a lovely stay at this resort. Best is to have a car to get here. The hotel was very beautiful and lots of greenery. Breakfast was awesome with lots of local cuisine to try. The service was impeccable and of a high standard. The room was large and enough for 3 of us including our teenage child. Everyone was kind and nice. The nature specialist Harish gave us a wonderful talk on kodava people (local folks) and about elephants. He was very knowledgeable and we did this over a bonfire which was lovely. The pool should be warmer during the cooler weather in the evenings especially if temperature control is available. The check in staff were nice but they tried to upsell an upgraded room when we didn’t really need one. We have stayed at countless Mariott properties worldwide and this was the first time someone tried to sell us an upgraded room which I felt was wrong considering that we fit comfortably in our booked room. If u want to upgrade u should provide it as complimentary otherwise don’t try to see something on false pretext as they said we may not be comfortable in our existing booking. Also the bed sheets need to be cleaned better as there were lots of stains. Cleanliness needs to be improved. Apart from this the stay was wonderful and we had a great time. Thanks to all the staff from check in to the buggy drivers to the valet drivers to the breakfast staff. The housekeeping also had a special welcome treat and welcome design in our room. And so kind of the restaurant staff to provide a goodbye cake.

Was there for one night but no complains at all apart from the room given to me was next to service lift which kept going up and down the whole night. Rest was all cool. The bed was nice.

The hotel staff was prompt to look into my requirements of late check in and airport and within the city transfers. They were prompt in offering me a good room. The breakfast was extremely good and filling. The staff is excellent and listen to the customers requirements and act upon it. It was their 13th anniversary when I visited. wishing them luck and many more gr8 years in serving excellent experiences to the customers.

It was an incredible experience staying in such a well-located place. The convenience and accessibility made everything so much easier, allowing me to truly enjoy and make the most of my time. Being in such a prime location added a special touch to the overall experience, making it not only comfortable but also unforgettable.
