Das Grand Burstin Hotel liegt in der Nähe aller Waren, die ich besuchen wollte. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und freundlich und hilfreich. Die Ausstattung ist am Tag und Nacht ich liebe ein Kabaret Am Ende des Tages

This was genuinely a wonderful and most special place. The Rocksalt Rooms are in a separate building to the Restaurant - but you check in at the latter and walk you over. Note all the streets here are cobbled, which can be slippery when wet. They are a real BoltHole as they are described, and there are only four total. 2 on 1st floor, 2 on 2nd floor, with one per floor harbour facing. I'd definitely suggest that the upgrade is worth it. The rooms are compact but exceptionally well presented. I've odd little niggles, theres no bedside of any kind - floating shelf would work, where do you put your mobile? And the metal bed frame is ornate and was loose on the footboard. The biggest challenge is where to put things. There are a few hangers on the back of the door and a small set of hooks, but not a drawer or proper place at all. I get space is a real premium here - bedside with 2 drawers all you need! The wet room is compact as everyone says. You won't keep the floor area outside the shower dry, it's not possible. The sink is a corner one with no space to place things but there is shelf in the bathroom for all your luxuries. The body wash / conditioner / hand soap / hand moisturiser are great quality. Noise - it's by the Harbour so they start early, but for us it was part of the charm of the location, the fresh fish smell was totally incredible. Breakfast is not to be missed, across in the restaurant with the best view, it's harbour side. Loved the granola, yoghurt, compote starter. I had English Breakfast as I was hungry, it was great quality but disappoining - it was more style over substance. The bacon is cooked to crispy, not my style at all but great quality. He had the Salmon & Eggs and it won hands down. Local, fresh, decent portion, on wonderful Sourdough. Luckily I was saved a bite. A point or two more - the bedside light fused the circuit and the room was plunged into darkness. Looked for fuse box, could not find. Ended up in Restsurant. They had to get keys to a location they used to own but don't now (ground floor of the Rooms building). This took a while as the keys had to be obtained. I get how this used to work, but not now - the fuse box needs moving. The if we cant fix option was check out and refund - erm no!! There is the most incredible Team member behind the Bar/ Restaurant from Bulgaria whose name I have really tsckily forgotten. For which I apologise. She is truly wonderful and made the visit for me, id return solely to see her again!!! Overall we loved Rocksalt Rooms and would return, to have dinner in the restaurant too! Der Standard war wie erwartet hoch, die Zimmer waren sauber und das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut. Ganz so, wie man es von einem Hampton by Hilton kennt. Zwar war der Weg vom Bahnhof etwas weiter und es war ein wenig mühsam, das Gepäck über das Kopfsteinpflaster der Hauptstraße zu ziehen, aber dafür liegt das Hotel direkt gegenüber der Kathedrale von Canterbury. Obwohl wir etwas früher ankamen (gegen 12 Uhr), konnten wir problemlos früher einchecken. Canterbury hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

I really had a pleasant stay. Everything about the hotel was relaxing and although I didn’t sleep well (due to being in a different bed to my own) there was nothing I could complain about. Staff were great, breakfast was ok (selection of cooked breakfast, pastries, toast,cereals & fruit) and you’re greeted with that famous cookie! :)

Das Zimmer war größer als erwartet und hatte einen Patio zu sitzen, das Bett war komfortabel und alles ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den Mews Zimmern gelegen. Ich bemerkte, das Badezimmer war etwas schmutzig und das heiße Wasser für die Dusche ging heute Morgen komplett. Der Wartungsmann musste rauskommen und den Kessel reparieren, um die Frage zu korrigieren. Die Lage ist absolut erstaunlich und die Gärten sind gut gepflegt. Es ist wirklich ein schöner Teil des Vereinigten Königreichs und das Hauptgebäude ist wunderschön. Das Gardenia Restaurant ist ein paar Tage der Woche für Abendessen und auch Frühstück geschlossen, was ich nicht für ideal gehalten hatte. So mussten wir draußen essen, da das Spa Restaurant nicht wirklich was ich suche, für ein schönes Abendessen. Für das Frühstück mussten wir zum saugen Spa Restaurant gehen, das eine sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Lebensmitteln hatte. Es gab etwa 6 Gerichte zu wählen, sagten sie, Der Koch kocht nicht geschrotet Ei, das ist ein Frühstück wesentlich, so dass ich grundsätzlich eine Toastplatte. Da ich nichts wollte auf dem Menü und mir wurde gesagt, dass die Schmiermaschine zerbrochen war, so konnte ich nicht einmal dafür entscheiden. Das geschah unmittelbar nach dem heißen Wasser war weg, so war ein bisschen Dampfer. Ich kam vor ein paar Jahren zum Hotel, als Sie nicht für den Spa-Zugang bezahlen mussten, aber jetzt tun Sie das etwas irritierend. Besonders, da Sie nur während des Frühstücks oder Abendessens besuchen können, auch mit der Zuschlag von £20. So dann müssen Sie entweder sehr spät am Abend essen oder einen späten Mittagessen sonst die £20 wird nicht gut verbraucht und Sie werden das Spa nach einer Stunde verlassen müssen

Insgesamt war das Hotel ganz ordentlich. Gute Lage und tolle Aussicht vom Zimmer. Das Gebäude ist allerdings schon etwas älter, manche erwarten kein 5-Sterne-Hotel. Wer etwas Vintage sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Ich fand es super. Und das Personal war so nett und freundlich. Ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ein Standard Premier Inn ... Zimmer war sauber und modern, der Rest des Hotels ein wenig müde, aber für den Preis und was ich erwartete, war völlig gut. Ein einfacher Spaziergang nach Canterbury, aber Sie müssen durch einen Untergang gehen, der einige Leute vielleicht problematische Sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp. sp WiFi ist getrocknet, um Sie zu ermutigen, ... nicht ein Fan von diesem zu aktualisieren.

What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The service was friendly and attentive, with staff always willing to help. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made the stay relaxing. I also enjoyed the food — there was a good variety, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Großer Preis für Geld. Das Hotel wurde für einen schnellen Halt vor der Reise verwendet. Großes Zimmer, ein wenig altmodisch, aber kein Problem zum Preis, den wir gezahlt haben, zu erwarten. Alles im Zimmer, was notwendig war und sehr sauber. Kein Aufzug zum zweiten Stock so ein wenig schwierig mit schwerem Gepäck, aber wir haben es geschafft. Würde wieder bleiben, wenn in der gleichen Situation.
