I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The restaurant was excellent, and every meal was delicious and well prepared. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax. Most of all, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, always making me feel welcome. Thanks to their hospitality, my stay was truly enjoyable, and I would definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

Lovely stay in Hotel Thrive. The hotel is located just off the main tourist hub in Thamel, it’s a very short walk and the hotel has security 24/7. The main courtyard is beautiful, a true tropical calm oasis away from the busy streets of Kathmandu. The rooms are spacious and modern with all the amenities you would need alongside daily housekeeping. The gym is compact but with good, well kept modern machinery and fantastic views across Kathmandu. The breakfast is delicious with ample choice to suit everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely stay again when we next visit Kathmandu.

There were 4 huge cockroaches in my room. I killed 2, the other 2 were running around. I did not know how many more cockroaches were hiding in the room. I called reception to request for a change of room. Staff came quite promptly and assisted with change of room, which thankfully was much cleaner and without cockroaches. Definitely not a good first impression for a first-timer staying in the hotel. Other than that, hotel lobby and cafe were decent looking and clean.

Nice, clean rooms, big comfy bed and pillows. Shower was okay. Water did not get hot, lukewarm at best and refrigerator was not cold at all, I almost thought it was broken. Food was good if you stick to Nepali and Indian food options, but lassis were watered down. Drinks were also not cold. Most of the staff were really friendly and helpful, but I had two instances that really turned me off. They have a free buffet breakfast, but if you opt to skip it, they call you very early in the morning to ask if you're coming or not. This disturbed my sleep several times until I asked them to stop. Today was also my last day here and although check out is at 3pm, I received a call from reception at 10:30am asking when I'd be leaving. He informed me that a big group would be arriving and told me that the check out time was noon, when it was clearly stated otherwise online. He asked if I'd be staying another night instead as if I was bartering to not be pushed out of my room before check out time, when I was right. I've never had such an experience before and have traveled all over the world. Such a lack of professionalism and tact. That is not how you treat guests at a 4 star hotel. Not recommending this hotel to anyone!

I recently booked Sara Sadan Hotel in Kathmandu for my parents, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The hospitality and clear guidance provided by the staff were excellent. My parents were very comfortable during their stay and were truly happy with the service. The staff were extremely friendly, respectful, and always helpful. Amenities are not sufficient, there should be freeze in room.when some one order something service staff should tell the costomer if things goes too late, I have wait one hour in restaurant for pizza. No apologies nothing that’s worst thing

Sehr wunderschönes Hotel 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom Flughafen. Alles war sauber, komfortabel, und ich fühlte mich immer gut betreut. Der Fitnessraum ist gut gelagert und hat einen großen Blick auf die Stadt. Das Frühstück war ein weiteres Highlight und umfasste viele leckere Nepalesische, indische und westliche Lebensmittel. Das Front Desk-Personal war äußerst hilfreich und freundlich, hilf mir Taxis zu einem günstigeren Preis als der Touristen-Rep off-Preis anzurufen, und sie halfen mir auch, meine Gepäck über Nacht zu lagern, während ich auf einen Yoga-Retreat ging. Kann dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen genug!!

Service staff were very friendly and helpful. Amazing hospitality and very welcoming. A manager did provide very misleading information when convincing us to book a car to our next location- he lied about the type of vehicle (said we were paying for a ‘luxury’ car. We were unaware of the road conditions to our next location and a ‘luxury car’ would have been inappropriate which he obviously knew). This compromised our view of the hotel management a bit, but, despite this they were very good.
