I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Generally speaking, it was a very pleasant experience. The design of this hotel is very unique and beautiful, making it a perfect fit for workation! You can see ducks playing around in the water field while working in the library. The sunset glow is just like a picture, which tinted the sky purple! So amazing. The only drawback for me is that the location is a bit far from Tsuruoka train station and the hotel does not provide a free shuttle bus service. I strongly recommend this hotel for workation, and I am sure I will be back again soon

A wonderful place to stay in. The service was fantastic. The room was huge, much too large for just a solo traveler like me but it would have been perfect if I had brought my wife and child along. The onsen quality was great, albeit the fittings at the shower area were a bit old. The food was hands down amazing and featured great local produce. Honestly there was too much for one person to finish! What I especially liked was that they had a separate room on the first floor where if it was too early for you to check in, you could drop your luggage off, change, and then grab your gear and head to the slopes. Same thing if you intend to charge the slopes a bit more on your last day, just leave your stuff in the storage room, hit the slopes, come back and change out, hit the onsen for the last time, then go off. Definitely recommending this place to my friends visiting Zao.

The room was beautiful, with tatami, yukata, tabi, and a little bag with towels to take with you when you go to their proper outdoor onsen that's right across the street. The onsen has good amenities, has 2 baths one indoor that's around 42 - 45 degrees, and outdoor one that's usually cooler around 38 - 42. The best thing about that onsen is that there usually not many people there, often I was there alone. The breakfast was great too, there were at least around 20 - 30 different dishes/foods to choose from. The hotel also sells discounted ski passes, and has it's own ski/snowboard rental service for lower price than most of the rental services nearby (the snowboard was of great quality, the shoes not so much). When we checked out, the hotel arranged a van to take us to the bus terminal as well. Overall, one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in Japan. 👌🏻

Auch wenn wir das Hotel angerufen haben, dass wir für die Eincheckung und Abendessen spät sein würden, da es schwere Schnee auf der Autobahn. Das Personal verschoben es auf 730. Allerdings war der Schnee so schwer, wir verloren unsere Straße in der Stadt und wir kamen um 8:10. Die Mitarbeiter sagten, wir waren zu spät und abgelehnt, um uns irgendwelche Nahrung zu bieten. Wir mussten in den Hügel nach uns gehen, um unser eigenes Abendessen zu finden. Aber am zweiten Abend unseres Aufenthalts, wir bemerkten, dass die anderen Gäste Abendessen um 9:00: 10 wenn wir durch das Restaurant passiert. Wir wissen, dass wir spät waren, aber ich dachte, das Hotel ist in der Gastfreundschaft, das Personal muss den Gästen zu berücksichtigen. Da wir nicht zu spät zu sein gemeint, nur wegen des schlechten Wetters draußen, konnten wir nicht schnell fahren. Wir waren auf der Autobahn 2 1/2 Stunden ohne Nahrungsmittel und Getränke in der Hoffnung, rechtzeitig ankommen.

We had an absolutely an amazing stay in Tedoso. First, the hot spring there is amazing. We had never felt so relaxed in a hot spring before. The hot water and the cold weather is completely in harmony. Second, the service is sooooooo nice. They always welcomed us and out in a lot more effort than they needed to. Third, the environment is astounding. The Japanese style and the room is way beyond our expectations. The hotel is so neat and delicate, which made us feel like we’re in a whole new world. Last, the food is spectacular. We had food ranging from big and juicy pieces of sukiyaki beef to nicely cut and flavored sashimi. Our experience at this hotel is exquisite, and the price is highly reasonable, our family highly recommend you to visit Tendoso and give it a try. I’m sure you and your family would have a remarkable experience.

Excellent stay in a nice clean single room on the 7th floor which also has an ice machine and vending machine and microwave on the same level. Other levels have coin operated laundry machines too. Very conveniently connected to the Yamagata Shinkansen station!!

It’s quite a big hotel, 3 buildings are connected and there are many rooms. The rooms are a bit outdated but still maintained well. Service was good and flexible. Transportation to the village is quite necessary when the roads are covered by snow, especially with luggage. They have free shuttle bus which is great. Best parts: 1. Dinner semi-buffet has unlimited alcoholic beverages including local sake, draft beer and wines. 2. Ski & board rental shop is right outside of the hotel. Although hotel only accept cash for the lift ticket, you can rent the gear (rental shop accepts credit card) and ski down the hill (20sec) to the cable ticket counter to buy ticket, pay by credit card. The location has lifts 5,6 and cable 4

Charming onsen hotel located 5 min drive from Kaminoyama station. A shuttle pick up can be arranged with the hotel ahead of time available from 1430-1800. It’s a relatively dated property but well maintained. A small public onsen with a rotenburo, and a small private onsen within the room comfortable for two. The spring water through the property is the same. Meals provided are extensive, balanced and nutritious featuring local specialities like yam, Yamagata and Yonezawa beef. Drinks are offered at the lounge in the afternoon from 1700, morning coffee and tea available from 0800. Overall a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Es dauerte uns etwa 15 Minuten von den Yamagata Flughafen zum Hotel mit einem Taxi. In einem gemütlichen Bereich gelegen und wir konnten die Berge mit Schnee in der Entfernung sehen (wir besuchten hier im Januar 2024). Alle Einrichtungen sind sauber und der japanische Garten im Hof ist sehr atmosphärisch. Die heißen Frühlinge sind auch sehr groß und sauber, und das Baden während der Schnee war eine äußerst wertvolle Erfahrung. Wir haben hier Abendessen (Yamagata beef sukiyaki) und Frühstück gegessen, sie waren zumindest wirklich nett zu sagen. Der Service war auch ausgezeichnet, absolut.

酒店服務真的極好!!!! 當天突然下暴雪,JR停運, 我比預期到達時間還晚了3-4小時, 快要晚上12點才到達JR站。結果,酒店幫我預留了我們6人的晚餐, 還到JR站等我再用接駁車送我!!!! 到達酒店食飯時, 米飯還是每人即煮的,飯和燒肉都是熱的, 而且甜品還放在雪櫃裡。真的令我十分驚喜! 我非常推薦這間酒店! ホテルのサービスは本当に素晴らしいです!!!! その日は突然の吹雪でJRが運休し、予定より3～4時間遅れてJRの駅に着いたのは12時近くでした。 その結果、ホテルは私たち6人の夕食を予約し、シャトルバスに連れて行ってもらう前にJRの駅で待っていてくれました!暑いし、デザートはまだ冷蔵庫にあります。 本当に嬉しい驚きでした!このホテルを強くお勧めします! The hotel service is really excellent!!!! There was a sudden snowstorm that day and JR was suspended. I arrived 3-4 hours later than expected and arrived at the JR station almost 12pm. As a result, the hotel reserved dinner for the 6 of us, and waited for me at the JR station before taking me to the shuttle bus! It's hot, and the desserts are still in the refrigerator. I was really pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend this hotel!
