NNarmeen ShahidIt is a good one - however unlike its branch in Egypt, they didnt had shower cap, slippers, bathrub and other stuff in rooms. The staff and their service was really good. The buffet as well wasnt full of vareities as in egypt (no doughnut stand). It was an hour away from sight seeings. Beautiful lounge and bar area

MmarcryuGreat location, easy access to major attractions in Oxford. Love the literary theme of its interior and rooms. Service and concierge staff were very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Our graduate twin room was surprisingly spacious and very pretty. Breakfast selections were plentiful and of good standard. Highly recommended if ever in Oxford.

GGastnutzerEine angenehme Überraschung, ein solches Geschirr zu einem erschwinglichen Preis zu finden.
Das Hotel liegt am Rande des Dorfes Chipping Norton, in der Nähe von Geschäften, pubs und der vorgenannten quaint Stadt.
Es fühlt sich sehr luxuriös mit dem Golfplatz, unser Zimmer war ein Grundstück, aber das ist alles, was wir wollten. Es hatte eine schöne Ausstattung, wie eine Kettle, TV, schöne Dusche usw.
Sie haben sogar die anstehenden Sport-„Paddle“ Gerichte zur Vermietung.
Insgesamt ist ein schöner Aufenthalt während wir Didly Squat und The Farmer’s Dog besucht haben.
Reservierung für Oktober.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Reception team especially kind to my boys, and giving them activity packs was a nice touch.
We visited the pool, which was clean. Whilst not big, it was empty so didn’t have to worry about my boys bothering anyone. Clean changing rooms.
We ordered dinner up to the room and must say the children’s menu cost was really reasonable for really well portioned food.
Rooms were lovely and clean. Great that the chrome cast actually worked in the room unlike some other hotels.
Breakfast had a great spread for all tastes.
Only downside is having to pay for parking.
On the whole, great hotel and staff and would stay again.

GGastnutzerWe have stayed here twice. The first time (2025) we were in the block which is separate to the main building- this was OK and the service was much better.
The latest time we stayed we were in the main building- its grotty. The carpet leading to the rooms was stained and the room itself although it looked clean, didn't 'feel clean'-the place could do with a refresh and new carpets.
We were unable to get food upon arrival as they stop serving at 9pm- we arrived a couloe of minutes before 9pm after a 4 hour drive, we were disappointe and we could see a couple eating in the bar area whose meals came out long after we had arrived- so really we could have ordered and been served. We ended up ordering an Uber eats meal.

Zusätzlich zu 10 Pfund zum Frühstück. Variante ist begrenzt, aber gut genug, um einen Tag mit ihm zu beginnen.
Das Zimmer selbst ist breit und sauber, nur Marriott Standards so müssen Sie sich Sorgen machen.

GGastnutzerWe have visited Sunbury Hotel a few times now , this time we were disturbed by person or persons at 02.47am and also experienced a lot of noise transmitted from above, both of which were a first for us and certainly surprised us. The cleaning service over the three nights amounted to pulling up the bed covers which is a definite lowering of previous standards. The complimentary bottles of water and snack biscuits were not refreshed at all, and the room itself now has two large areas of damp showing in the corners which should have been attended to and at least kept clean.
The hotel was busy during the weekend but the Tuesday am breakfast was attended service rather than the buffet which was great as the food was freshly prepared and served to us. A warning if you have a pet it's £20 per night now and segregation in the bar area for breakfast which is fine except for the walk through with your serving from the restaurant area before it gets cold.
The grounds are superb and the outside patio are excellent, plenty of car parking. It would be interesting to see if management comment.
