年に数回ある一般公開日に見学。普段は入れない灯台内部に入らせていただき、灯台の上まで登って絶景を見られます。

船の交通の要衝に築かれた西洋式灯台です。

加太からフェリーで20分くらいで友ケ島の野奈浦桟橋に上陸をして歩いて向かいました。距離は約1.5㎞ほどです。大阪湾の南出口の交通の要衝だけあって友ケ島に灯台が築かれたのは明治時代の初期（砲台建設のためにその後場所は移動）です。日本で西洋式灯台8番目だそうです。行くなら年2回(5月と11月)の公開している時がよいかと思います。
