一の湯の近くの飲泉場

温泉は入浴だけでなく飲用にもいい。ここ城崎温泉には、一の湯のすぐ近くに飲泉場がある。コロナの影響で湯のみが撤去されていたので、手で受けて飲んだが、熱くてやけどしそうだった。飲み過ぎると良くないようなので、飲用の注意を参照すること。

城崎温泉は塩化物泉で、足湯ばかりでなく試飲もできます。城崎駅前を始め、温泉街の各所に温泉の湧き出ている泉があります。意外にも熱い湯でゆっくり飲まないと火傷します。この玉橋飲泉場は海内第一泉の碑の近くにあります。
