Nymphaeum is the 1st ruin that you will encounter from the parking lot
I am not sure why the Nymphaeum is under its own listing. It is the first ruin that you will see after going through the parking lot. Excavations and restoration of the site is ongoing.
Walk
Walked here from the out hotel which was 40mins away, lovely walk in the wi get sun. Ruins next to the road and east to see and appreciate.
Side (via the public buses)
We made our own way to Side. One bus from Kiziligac to Manavgat (€1 each) and another from Manavgat to Side (€1 each). When you get to Side bus station you can walk to the ruins - they’re literall...
Nice walk among the ruins
We took a Dolmus (for 1,50 euros) near our hotel and visited the old town and Marina in Side. Monumental Fountain is located in the ancient city, where you can walk freely. It dates back to 2nd centur...
Good viewing
I cannot believe the amount of free history to be seen in Side Antique town. The fountain ruins didn’t disappoint me and I was able to tick off my list of Side things to do
