Great memorial to those thousands of Welsh Miners
Located close to Senghenydd where the greatest loss of life was experienced in 1913. It is truly amazing how many mines were in operation at the time. Now, thankfully all gone.

A moving tribute.
A moving tribute to the Mine disasters of 1901 and 1913. Also memorial plaques to the many other disasters including Aberfan.

Fantastic resource to discover the history of the locality.
Really useful resource base, thousands of electronic photos as well as artefacts which have been donated by people far and wide. Very knowledgeable staff on hand too.
