Valley of the Giants

It looks like a great trail/area but can't get there!

We tried 2 different days, 3 different routes. Not accessible from any directions! Gates on 2 and the one from Grand Ronde has a gate and a BIG sign that states "Not a Road to the Valley of Giants"

Private roads closed :0(

Contacted BLM to see if trail was open before we headed out from Eugene...its the end of fire season...they said it was open, and sent directions. We got as far as some private road owned by Weyerhau...
