Colorado River hike near Pagosa Springs
Near the start the river gorge/canyon was wonderful. Followed by a long open valley. Got to second foot bridge and turned around for an almost 7 mile round trip. What a nice hike and I’ll be back.

The views are amazing
This trail is easy in places difficult in other places. We turned around about the three mile marker. I would recommend not to wear sandals or flip flops on this trail we did see a snake.

Spring hiking
Beautiful riverside hiking trail. We found the trail to be wet, muddy, snowy and icy in parts. Hiking boots a must. Poles recommended. Trail is passable and truly enjoyable.
