Wellington Lake
One of the important tourist centre is Wellington Lake and it is nearer to Coonoor. Environment and climate is good. Boating facilities are there and enjoyed the ride.
A little disappointed
There are better places in and around Coonoor. You could skip it. I went there with very high expectations but could not spend more than 5 minutes.
Cool and Crowded
This is a very nice lake , very relaxing, but the downside is you have wait for hours to get the ticket and boat ride, especially during summer weekends. better avoid weekends in summer if possible
Small beautiful Lake
We had visited this small Lake in Wellington area during our sightseeing in Coonoor. Entrance tickets are priced at 15 rupees per person. Separate tickets are there if anyone is interested in boating...
