Very pleasant museum

I went to the museum when they had an exhibition of modern Japanese art mostly from the 1960s. Generally a nice museum. You can get there from the station on the number 8 bus. 800 yen entrance fee.

平等院鳳凰堂と浄土院

長岡駅から信濃川を渡って右に曲がって進み、日赤病院を超えた所にあります。 今回は、「平等院鳳凰堂と浄土院」という特別展が開催されていたので行ってきました。 創建当時のものから、その後江戸時代に作られ、長く保管されているもの、また復元品など、多くのものが展示されていました。 コロナ禍で、宇治までなかなか行けませんので、この時期にこういう展示会があると、ありがたいです。
