Santa Barbara Scenic Drive

Nowhere to pull off and enjoy the great views...busy road

We tried some of the side roads to slow it down but saw on our map it would be come a series of switchbacks with no outlets. Scenic drive was over in no time. Maybe we went the wrong way??

Terrific Drive

The drive was spectacular, we drove, stopped along the way. Got out and walked a bit. It was a lovely way to spend part of our day in Santa Barbara.

Traffic has certainly become much worse in Santa Barbara, so allow plenty of time when attempting to enjoy the area!

So beautiful

This is a lovely drive around Santa Barbara. It is such a beautiful, historic city. The plants and trees are mature and pretty. All the buildings have interesting architecture.

Early Get Away

We took the SB Trolley Tour and went through downtown, and the countryside admiring all the wonderful homes, their architecture from Montecito where all the multi-million dolar homes are to the zoo
