And...there it is!
We stumbled upon this Totem Pole when shopping for groceries. It's right there in the parking lot, adjacent to the Safeway. An interesting curiosity.
WOW!
What a cool roadside Americana stop! Oddly placed behind a grocery store/retail area (in a roundabout). There is parking on any of the lots next to it. Go and enjoy!
Local Landmark
McKinleyville Totem Pole is located at west end of McKinleyville Shopping Center. Dates back to 1950 or 1960's. Claim of tallest Totem in North America. Know as local landmark.
Old totem
This is a old totem pole and the only one in McKinleyville, Ca. It is a nice place to take pictures and hide painted rocks.
