This was a lovely hidden gem, hope it is kept maintained as there is a lot of overgrown vegetation, will visit again, glad it was a lovely day.

Lovely family walk

Wonderful walk
Lovely walk through the forest with masses of wild garlic in bloom. The path can be a little muddy in parts but is worry it to get to the 12th century motte and bailey castle

Hidden? Overgrown more like.
Walked from Penmon village, signposted. There were signs on the route that said the castle was off limits, but the grounds werent. So we could get to the broken steps , then no further. Had nice walk...
