Excellent collection of local wildlife specimens. The museum staff is a very kind, helpful middle aged man. We also got some local tourism advice here.

　自然館の展示物を見るより、せっかく東大雪に来たからには、動物や橋梁あとを見るツアーをこちらで確認してください。 　ヒグマ出没情報も確認すべきです。 　北海道は自動車でかなり奥まで行けるところが多いですが、ヒグマ出没地域の情報をしっかり確認しないと、ここ数年一人旅の方が亡くなられています。
