跡でした

2泊3日の桜見物のツアーで訪問しました。「跡」というので、復元されたものを想像して行きました。が、本当に「跡」で、区割りされたロープと、元あったらしいものの説明、藩主についての説明だけ。桜並木の方が美しく見ごたえがありました。

日本最初の星形城郭の跡

北斗市に残る城跡です。陣屋跡とありますが立派な城跡で、松前藩が作った日本最初の星形城郭の跡になります。 北斗市の中心部から道道96号をずっと北上していったところにあります。中心からは結構距離がありますし、高台にあるので車で行くことをお勧めします。ちなみに、96号は北海道新幹線の高架を抜けると桜が植えられており、清川の千本桜として北斗桜回廊にも組み込まれていますので、是非通ってみてください。 こ...
