Easy access

If you'd like to walk even a small part of the AT, it's easy to do while in/around Harpers Ferry. Uphill and downhill if making it part of a walk from the Harpers Ferry parking lot.

Nice and steep

What a great workout this trail is. We hiked 4 miles to Split Rock and the view was fablous. We ate lunch and chatted with new friends.
