If you have time to visit this archaeological site in a very nice nature, ancient ruins , friendly staff will help you for information; schools visit also this nice site.

It's not just the site itself, but the surrounding that make this a nice place to see.
For those who like ancient things, the 7000 BC archaeological site is worth passing by, especially if you're with a car coming from Larissa. Note that it's only open until 2PM or so (and not on Monday...

We visited this not expecting to find such a well curated site. The gentleman in the ticket office was very helpful and allowed us to view a set of information slides on a computer and the office also...
