A fantastic sports ground. Iconic place to watch cricket, rugby, or Aussie Rules. It holds up to 100,000 people. The atmosphere is amazing. With so many people, getting out of the MCG is relatively easy with large walking ramps.
for most Aussies growing up playing their national sport "Aussie Rules Football" this stadium is a the holy grail .. The ultimate place to see the best in Australia. This venue is home to the Australia grand final of Football .. and ofcourse Cricket for those that need to know.. Also has a hall of fame museum ..
Home to Australian Rules Football, it is the ultimate sporting venue in Australia. But the MCG doesn’t host AFL matches, it also hosts cricket, rugby and soccer games too. If you’re in Melbourne, you should venture to this iconic venue and take in the atmosphere of a game. Housed in Melbourne’s sporting precinct, close to the Rod Laver Arena and other large sporting venues, the MCG is easy to access via rail and tram. The site also features the National Sports Museum.
There's no such thing as a bad seat at the MCG with most seats undercover. Level Two is a favorite level of footy fans and probably cricket fans to. Level One is close to the action and from Level Three you have a great view of the entire ground. There are huge screens so you wont miss any of the in close play. There are also hundreds of large wide-screen televisions mounted around the stadium so if you go to get food or drink you can keep watching the game.Access to the stadium is not a problem as it located next to trains, trams, buses and is only a ten minute walk from Melbourne's CBD.The MCG must be in the top ten stadiums of the world.
Best stadium in Australia! Lots of history, museum is great
