Beautiful forest to drive by on the way to Bend. Lot of green all around. Saw a Ranger Station nearby for safety. Worth spending a few hours

Truck

There is no way you can travel to this in a small car. You need a truck, gas guzzlers. That alone made us upset.

easy to drive

The scenic byway was enjoyable. We had pick nick lunch at Lava Lake. It was not crowed and was quite. A number of the lakes were very busy.

amazing place to visit with family or groups, nice views, good kids activity , clean and the gardeners work very hard to keep this area up to . at 100 %
