Sydney to Cairns 2023
Another great example of Australia's commitment to remembering those who gave their lives in the great wars. Set in nice park like surroundings. There is even a Tank and Armoured Personal Carrier. ...

Tanks were cool.
The kids loved seeing the tanks and the information was quite interesting. Plenty of room to run around and easy to get to.

Stop and pay your respects
Visited on Wednesday 12th September. As we wondered around Cooktown we stopped to have a look at this memorial to those who fought in the two World Wars.

Worth a visit
The entrance is very nice. The two tanks on display are well maintained. For a small community it's a nice little park display. Also has public toilets that have nice mural
