Grandma Perfi's tree!
Drove up my Taylor to look for a tree that my grandfather had written my grandmother's name on before they were even courting like the olden days it must be over a century ago!! Found it SUPER EXCITED...
Mt Taylor Ranger Station
Ranger station was very helpful with maps and information.Nice facility and was on main road to Mt. Taylor, was easy to find.

This is the sacred mountain for the Acomas, so many things to do but go up feel the mountain, smell the fresh air and enjoy nature. take a picnic or just go sit and listen to the wind through the pine...

we didnt go there but could see it from El Maipais visitor center, ut was beautiful with the snow on the top
Excellent Roads And Trails
The roads in are somewhat better from Grants than the north side, but either way no big deal. High clearance is nice but not necessary on the main tracks. Scenery and forest are gorgeous. If you want ...
