It needs to be a sunny day

We popped in to see the black diamond lake, but it was overcast so the water was not the vibrant blue we saw on pictures. Hope it’s sunny for you.

Very pretty but no amentities at all.

The lake has an amazing turquoise colour on a sunny day but it's not so colourful on a cloudy day. Make sure you take everything as there are no amenities whatsoever and it you decide to go for a swim...
