Good hotel, not far from the city center. There is a shuttle service to the mall, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is excellent.
What I did not like was the unfriendly receptionist. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room, and the bed sheets were not very comfortable. It would be great if bathrobes and slippers were provided as well.

Everything was Good. Pick up from the airport in a free shuttle every 30 minutes. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room small but neat, Good for just 1 night. For longer I would have choosen a larger room with a fridge. Nice facilities on the premises for eating out and shopping. Interesting exhibition on the history of democracy in SA.

Если берёте номер с завтраком и ужином, то будьте внимательны, ужин на номер 800 ZAR, завтрак на номер 450 ZAR. Если возьмёте больше этой стоимости, то Вам придется доплатить! Wi-Fi работает хорошо, без проблем.В номере нам не хватало только тапочек.

Sehr nahe dem Vortoria Gautrain Station. Ein anständiger und komfortabeler Aufenthalt. Zimmer ist geräumig. Ich mag wirklich den großen Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Ein kleiner Fitnessraum.

I enjoyed the whole experience, the hotel is located in a quiet and safe area so i felt safe the whole time. loved the facilities as for the food was always eating out at nearby restaurants. I will definitely visit again because I enjoyed and had a wonderful time at the hotel.

Mein Mann kam früh am Hotel (7am) an, ermüdet und erschöpft nach einem langen Flug und das Personal konnte ihn nicht mindestens etwas früher als die Eincheckungszeit ins Zimmer bringen oder bietet irgendein anderes Zimmer, Er wurde gebeten , bis 2 Uhr zu warten , um in sein Zimmer zu prüfen .
Auch er bat um ein halales Essen , wenn er Zimmerservice anruft und sie sagten ihm, sie haben nichts , anstatt eine Alternative zu bieten .
Ich hoffe wirklich , dass der Service dieses Hotels in Zukunft hilfreicher sein wird .

We made use of the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The drivers were helpful and friendly. This is a great value-added service. We were welcomed at reception by friendly staff. We were helped to our rooms. The rooms are modern, functional, and comfortable. We went to the 6th floor for dinner. The restaurant and bar there is called Level Seven. The staff there told us it was a privately owned restaurant and bar. We sat in the bar and ordered food and drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The only good thing about the food that night was that the fries were awesome and seasoned well. Breakfast the next morning in the main restaurant on the ground floor was exceptional—friendly staff and really good food. Overall, a great stay, let down unfortunately by the food at Level Seven.

GGastnutzerUpon arrival, check-in at reception was smooth. We were provided with our room key and directed to our accommodation, which required us to drive to the other side of the estate. However, when we reached the room, the key did not work. We walked back to reception, where we were informed that a network issue had prevented the key from being properly programmed. The receptionist, who was very helpful, offered to accompany us to the room and opened it using a master key. She assured us that a functioning key would be delivered as soon as the network was restored.
Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that it had not been cleaned. The window sill was sticky with what appeared to be beverage spills, the floor was dirty, the bathroom mats were not fresh, and most concerning, there were rat droppings on the window sill, on the floor behind the curtains, and behind the door. I contacted reception to request housekeeping and asked to speak with a manager, as the condition of the room was unacceptable. A housekeeping staff member arrived, but I requested that cleaning not proceed until the housekeeping manager assessed the situation. The manager quickly confirmed that the room had indeed not been cleaned and that there were clear signs of rodent activity. She apologised sincerely, asked us to wait while the room was cleaned, and said she would escalate the matter to the rooms division. While waiting on the terrace outside, we noticed a mouse in the bushes, which explained the droppings found inside.
After the room was cleaned, the manager returned, apologised again, and informed us that a complimentary bottle of wine had been arranged for us. We told her about the mouse we had seen and expressed that we did not feel comfortable staying in that room. She went back to speak with the rooms division, and we waited in the bar. An hour later, she returned with keys to a new room and directed us there. The replacement room was clean, though the entire experience made for a rocky start to our stay.
The following day, after breakfast, we returned to our room to find that the terrace doors had been removed and two maintenance staff were working. This came as an unexpected surprise, as no one had informed us that repairs would be taking place. We decided to return to the bar to allow the work to be completed. As we were celebrating a birthday that day, the housekeeping manager kindly arranged for our room to be decorated with a birthday message.
From that point onward, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay thanks to the exceptional customer service at the restaurants, bars, and spa. In particular, we would like to recognise Moses, Regal, and Tebogo at Kingsley Restaurant; Sibongile at Granatas; and Mandy at the spa for their outstanding hospitality. They truly made our stay memorable.
Overall, despite the challenges we experienced upon arrival, we had a lovely stay. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making my mother’s birthday special.

I was booked into one of the Villa Suites, and it was an experience in itself. The suite was beautifully appointed, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, blending elegance with comfort in a way that felt both indulgent and homely. Every detail from the plush furnishings to the serene garden views contributed to a sense of effortless relaxation. It truly felt like a private sanctuary.
The service throughout my stay was impeccable. Staff members were warm, attentive, and intuitive without ever being intrusive. Whether it was assistance with luggage, dining recommendations, or simply a friendly check‑in to ensure everything was perfect, the team consistently delivered with professionalism and charm.
The hotel grounds are equally impressive. Lush, tranquil, and meticulously maintained, they create a peaceful escape that feels worlds away from the bustle of the city. It’s the ideal setting for unwinding, whether by the pool, in the spa, or simply strolling through the gardens.
Dining at Fairlawns was another highlight. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with a menu that balances creativity and comfort. Every meal felt like a treat.
Overall, Fairlawns Boutique Hotel offers an exceptional blend of luxury, privacy, and heartfelt hospitality. My stay in the Villa Suite was unforgettable, and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone seeking a refined and restorative escape in Johannesburg.

BBrougleIch hatte kürzlich das Vergnügen, in diesem wunderschönen Hotel zu übernachten, und ich muss sagen, es hat alle meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Vom Moment meiner Ankunft an war ich von seiner hervorragenden Lage, dem erstklassigen Service und der allgemeinen Gastfreundschaft beeindruckt.
Die Lage des Hotels war einfach hervorragend. Es war günstig gelegen und ermöglichte einen einfachen Zugang zu nahe gelegenen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Annehmlichkeiten. Egal, ob ich die Stadt erkunden oder mich auf ein Safari-Abenteuer begeben wollte, die zentrale Lage des Hotels machte es zu einem perfekten Ausgangspunkt für meine Reisen.
Der Service des Hotelpersonals war wirklich außergewöhnlich. Von der herzlichen Begrüßung beim Einchecken bis zur aufmerksamen Unterstützung während meines gesamten Aufenthalts fühlte ich mich wirklich umsorgt. Das Personal tat alles, um sicherzustellen, dass alle meine Bedürfnisse erfüllt wurden, einschließlich des besonderen Gefallens, mir zu erlauben, meinen Koffer dort zu lassen, während ich auf Safari war. Ihre Flexibilität und entgegenkommende Art wurden sehr geschätzt.

GGastnutzerExcellent séjour au Southern Sun de Rosebank. De la prise en charge à l'accueil, à l'installation dans la chambre tout s'est très bien passé. Du personnel (d'entretien, du bar, du restaurant, de l'accueil et de la sécurité) tous ont exercé avec sourire. La chambre était très bien équipée et propre. Le petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. Le restaurant une excellente table et du très bon vin.Une pensée particulière aux personnels qui nous ouvraient tous les jours le portail à l'arrière de l'hôtel nous facilitant ainsi le départ vers le poumon de Rosebank. La piscine bien que fraîche était toujours la bienvenue en fin de journée. Même si quelques menus travaux étaient en cours dans l'hôtel nous n'avons jamais été incommodés. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.
Un grand bravo à l'hôtel et à tout son personnel. Nous reviendrons c'est sûr.

Ich habe um 7 Uhr für einen Aufenthalt später dieselbe Nacht gebucht, und das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich und während des gesamten Prozesses untergebracht. Die Zimmer sind unglaublich sauber und wunderschön geräumig, leicht zu den besten Hotelunterkünften, die ich während meiner Besuche in Johannesburg erlebt habe.
Die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details und das Engagement für den Gastkomfort ist in allen Aspekten dieser wunderbaren Einrichtung offensichtlich. Von dem warmen Willkommen am Frontdesk bis zu den gut ausgestatteten, komfortablen Zimmern hat dieses Hotel meine Erwartungen überschritten und seine Position als einer meiner besten bevorzugten Orte, um in der Stadt zu bleiben, fester gemacht.

My elderly mother traveled all the way from China to Johannesburg and then to Windhoek, and the hotel staff truly went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and safety. They arranged a seamless pickup upon her arrival and a timely drop-off the following day, which made her feel incredibly supported throughout her journey. She raved about the excellent service, and I was impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. The breakfast was delightful, offering a great start to the day. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a warm and accommodating place to stay!
