This is the cleanest Hampton by Hilton I have so far stayed at!
One thing to consider in lactose and gluten free options for a breakfast, other than that, I have absolutely enjoyed my stay and will be back again and again!

We arrived to find a beautiful hotel
In a lush setting with the most beautiful foliage with tropical birds. The grounds were a paradise. Every morning we were serenaded with the songs of all the different bird species. The restaurant was an excellent Italian restaurant that we would recommend to anyone. The staff was always happy to provide any assistance with a smile.

Wir buchen das aufgrund des Rufs von Hilton und für den Pool und insgesamt war es ein gutes Hotel in einer guten Lage. Kostenloses Shuttle war immer nützlich und Zimmer waren sauber und zu einem guten Standard.
Leider war der Pool kalt - wir fragten, ob er erhitzt wurde und es wurde gesagt, es war. Es war so enttäuschend, weil es unmöglich war, ein Schwimmen zu genießen. Eine echte Schande.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Flughafen. Ein Shuttlebus fährt alle 30 Minuten; bei der Nähe zum Flughafen sollte die Fahrt eigentlich alle 15 Minuten erfolgen.
Neben dem Hotel befindet sich ein Walmart, und im Eingangsbereich gibt es drei Restaurants: eines mit peruanischer, eines mit argentinischer und eines mit costa-ricanischer Küche.
Der Fitnessraum war gut ausgestattet, und das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nicht herausragend.

Amazing Stay with Fantastic Hot Springs and Waterslides!
We had an incredible time at this beautiful hotel! The hot springs were a true highlight—relaxing and rejuvenating, with breathtaking views. The waterslides added a fun and adventurous twist to our stay. The property itself is stunning and well-maintained, with a serene and inviting atmosphere.
The only downside was the lack of dryers anywhere on the property, which meant we had to take some damp clothes with us on the plane. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to our friends. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with unique amenities, this place is a fantastic choice!

GGastnutzerMy family and I arrived at Casa Del Rio on November 26. We spent 2 nights here. We are a party of 6 and booked three rooms under two separate reservations. My reservation was through Trip.com and confirmed on Nov 19.
This boutique hotel sprawls across a large, beautifully maintained property. The individual cabana-type rooms are spread out across the property. So, when I booked my reservation, I requested that my room be as close as possible to my family’s two rooms. I also messaged the property on WhatsApp and requested that my room be adjacent to, or as close as possible to, my family’s rooms. On Nov 20, I received a message: «If the rooms are the same category, we can try to accommodate you. I replied, «Yes, all three rooms are the same category (a king bed and twin)». I also received an email from the hotel (hotelboutiqueca.4rr68r2bkw630rt@service.trip.com) and sent the same request for our three rooms to be adjacent to each other.
When we arrived, two rooms on the same reservation were adjacent to each other, but my room was far away in a completely different location. I asked for assistance to modify this, and the receptionist told me «not possible ». She asked to see the emails to confirm that I had sent requests, but she did not attempt to assist. She could have asked for assistance by checking with her superior, but she did nothing.
This was poor service. The refusal to make any effort to assist was blatant and hugely disappointing. The evenings were pouring rain, and we hoped to gather as a family, but we didn’t because we were located so far apart.
Aside from this one issue, the boutique hotel is lovely. The rooms are huge and spacious, tastefully decorated with a light color palette, and feature extremely comfortable beds with very nice bedding (making for a fantastic night’s rest after an active hiking day in Fortuna). The rooms had a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a large-screen television, a good-sized closet, a safe, and an attached balcony. The entire room was immaculately clean.
The entire Boutique Hotel is beautifully maintained and feels very secure (gates and a large wall surround the property). However, I didn’t see a security guard at night. The property needs a little more lighting on its walking paths for those walking to the pool, spa, or restaurant, or meeting family/friends after 6pm (it’s very dark).
The pool was enjoyed by our 13, 17, and 18-year-olds. The other three adults enjoyed massages at the hotel spa (at least I did - Michelle was great. Be sure to request a therapeutic, gentle massage).
The breakfast (included with the room) was absolutely delicious and very filling. We opted for the local-style breakfast (3 options: American, breakfast sandwich, or local). We were served fresh juice & fruit, warm/freshly baked pastries, a delicious main course (eggs, rice and beans, sausage, plantain, etc.), followed by coffee and tea. Everything was scrumptious. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance, was impeccably clean, and offered gracious, kind, and attentive service.
It would be nice if this property included access to a washer and dryer because, in the rainforest, clothing becomes damp… it would be lovely to be able to clean or at least dry some clothing quickly.
Undeniably, this is a relaxing, extremely comfortable, immaculately clean, safe, and beautiful Boutique hotel. It doesn’t have direct access to hot springs (a must-do in Fortuna), but this hotel offers lovely, high-quality accommodations. It’s suitable for families and groups (if/when they accommodate adjacent rooms) and honeymooners.
If you have a special request, then call ahead and speak with someone on the property and confirm before you arrive. With the exception of the first staff member I encountered on the property, every other member of the hotel staff was welcoming, kind, gracious, and very helpful.

JJudyLocation is great. Bed is comfortable and the room with A/C is so great. Netflix hotel account included was surprisingly unexpected as well. The vibe of the Selina La Fortuna is what I expected from reading reviews and the pictures.

Die Gesamtdekoration der gesamten Gebäude ist sehr schön und es gibt einen schönen Garten mit allen Zimmern.
Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, das Badezimmer hat eine gute Größe und der Badezimmerraum ist groß. Die Dusche hat eine gute Menge Wasser und die Heizung funktioniert gut.
Das Zimmer verfügt auch über einen Kleidungsschrank, einen Trockner (sehr hilfreich mit allen heißen Quellen und Regen), einen kleinen Kühlschrank und Klimaanlage.
Es gibt zwei Pools und sie sind gut gereinigt.
Aber das Personal ist das wirkliche Highlight des Hotels. Jeder ist super freundlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie kochen ein erstaunliches Frühstück und können auch helfen, die besten Touren zu finden.
Ich hätte nicht um einen besseren Aufenthalt in La Fortuna gebeten.

GGAPONSehr schönes und schönes Hotel, mit hochwertigen Materialien und einem tollen Design. Aber meine größte Enttäuschung war, dass ein 5-star Hotel nicht komplimentäres Wasser im Zimmer, statt es für $4.50 pro Flasche zu verkaufen. Dies ist besonders überraschend in Costa Rica, da das Zimmer über 1000 $ pro Nacht kostet.
Es fühlt sich ziemlich enttäuschend und sogar dürftig, dass sie nicht bereit sind, grundlegende internationale Dienstleistungsstandards zu erfüllen. Meiner Meinung nach sollte die Führung von Hotels in Asien und dem Nahen Osten inspiriert werden, wo der Gastservice oft viel mehr überdenkend und vollständig ist.
Ich habe gefühlt, dass sie anstelle der Bereitstellung kleiner Elemente als Teil des Dienstes versuchten, für alles zusätzliche Belastungen zu zahlen, was die Gesamterfahrung negativ beeinflusst.

The hotel staff are very nice and ready to help. One night we were walking in the garden, we ran into a hotel security, Dimas (hope I got the name right). We asked about animals. Dimas right away gave us a tour and showed us so many animals! We saw sloth, snake, frogs (including the green one), alligator, fresh water crab...all in the hotel garden!!! The garden is a paradise. Inside the hotel property, all we could hear was the sounds of insects, frogs, birds...
We are so happy that we stayed at Casa Luna!

LLouise MarieI read summer great reviews of this place and it did not disappoint. There are small trails on the property. Stunt get excited, they are small but you are not next to another building! The pool is nice but not heated. If you are from the NE US, you are used to it. Or was refreshing especially after being in the sun for a bit. The hotel is nicely kept but more of a local style which I prefer more than the standard hotel room. The room is beautiful and the bed is comfy. You can't go wrong here. Many people I met do the same thing, spend the last night in Costa Rica before flying out. Very secure, not much near, but the best ends to your pura vida vacation.

Hot springs were amazing, I love the option of having at least one of the hot springs open 24/7, they change it each night for cleaning purposes, they’re very strict on the towels, each one is literally accounted for otherwise there is a fee per towel, no big deal as long as you keep track, didn’t really need to carry a towel around anyway, the only downside I’d have to say was the Italian restaurant was much better then the buffet option, also the slides are pretty intense, I actually hurt my foot on one of them, but it didn’t stop the fun. Wish I were back there!

VVerified MemberThe staff were all great, especially all the restaurant staff. I especially appreciated the hotel making special arrangements to celebrate my birthday. However, some of the shortfalls included the very slow and inconsistent WIFI at our building (500), the bathroom door couldn’t be kept closed, and the in room jacuzzi never got hot. But on the positive note, the in room AC was very good, the room, bathroom and shower were spacious and had hot water.
P.S. I was underwhelmed by my undercooked tomahawk during dinner.
