It is a nice hotel, located about 700 meters from what you could call the Bayonne City Center. It is a very nice hotel, perfectly clean rooms, nice reception area in the 9th floor and access to a 24 hour lounge with very nice views of the city. The breakfast was ok, with a nice selection of food. We would recommend it if you want to spend a couple of days in Bayonne.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my 21 year old daughter in the first week in July. It's in a great position, down a beautiful street & a short walk to all the bustling restaurants along the port. The lady at check in was really lovely, friendly & informative (& again when we came back one night wanting a hot drink to take up to bed with us she helped us with this). The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable (I'm a bit fussy when it comes to what I sleep on but I had a great night sleep). We stayed midweek and didn't experience any issues with noise outside. The walls are a little thin and on rare occasions could hear next door but this didn't bother us at all & what this place offered overall more than made up for it. The shower cubicle was small so wouldn't suit everyone. I've been to La Rochelle many times and stayed at various hotels each time depending on who I'm traveling with (as a couple or large group). This place ticked all of the boxes and we weren't disappointed. On another note: I usually take a taxi from the airport but the queue was horrendous and after half an hour we decided to jump on the bus (it was Illico 1b) and it took us only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel from the Dames Blanches/St Nicholas bus stop....for under 2 euros each...so I'd do this again just to save taxi time, regardless of cost. Recommend this hotel....and of course beautiful La Rochelle. Ps. there's a lovely, buzzy restaurant opposite too with yummy food...it was packed so we had to take ourselves off to a nearby bar to have a drink & wait...worth it though as restaurant had great atmosphere. Enjoy!

Second time in France and first time in Pau. So far this is the best hotel. It exceeded my expectations. We found it very easy, The room was big, having a big wardrobe, many hangers and storage space, comfortable beds, big bathroom. Overall very cozy. The breakfast was great. I regret we did not stay longer in Pau but I'm thinking of another visit. The receptionist was a very polite young man. The hotel must be proud with such employees

Walking into the reception area and passageways there is a feeling of faded grandeur reminiscent of the great hotels of 100 years ago. However the bedroom and breakfast room were all clean and modern. Our room was of good size with a long wall table giving plenty of space for laptops etc. Initially there was only one chair but a second was quickly provided on request. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice. Outstanding above all was the friendly and helpful attitude of the staff – day reception, evening reception, breakfast room – all of them. With two nights bed and breakfast for two and underground parking in their car park next door the cost was €201 which we felt was very good value.

Das Hotel ist sehr viel überpreist und es gibt nichts Boutique darüber. Wir blieben im Zimmer 9. Die Möbel gehören in den 1970er Jahren und die Dekoration braucht wirklich eine Aktualisierung. Das Zimmer war sauber, was gut war, aber nicht besonders einladend. Alle Ausstattung war veraltet. Das Bett war so unbehaglich, dass wir beide am nächsten Tag Rückenschleife hatten! Nicht groß, als wir eine lange Autofahrt zu folgen hatten. Das Toilette ist vom Badezimmer getrennt. Warum? Es wäre besser gewesen, ein größeres Badezimmer zu haben. Die Dusche wurde gebrochen, so dass Sie es nicht auf die Wand zu duschen knippen konnten. Sie mussten die Dusche halten, die es schwierig machte, Ihre Haare zu duschen und waschen. Plus die Badewanne kommt aus der Seite des Bades nicht das Ende, und dies ist die gleiche Seite der Dusche Vorhang hängt. So keine Chance, den Boden trocken zu halten. Auch das Bad war hoch und ich fand es schwierig zu steigen in. (Ich bin nur 5ft 3). Wir haben in anderen Hotels in The Originals Group geblieben und sie waren so viel besser als das. Wir haben uns nicht am Morgen beim Hotel beschweren, weil sie wenig Englisch sprechen und wir haben offensichtlich nicht über die Dusche und das Bett erst am Morgen erkannt, als wir verlassen waren. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt wollten wir einfach auf unserem Weg. Es gibt viele bessere Hotels zum gleichen Preis.

Lovely B&B with a vineyard and a view to die for. The exterior is kept as authentic as possible, while the interiors are modern and comfortable. The room was clean, humongous shower and design details all around, like the bedsheets. Breakfast basic but with bio products and lovely coffee. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Price good for what we got.

Ich war mit meinem Zimmer sehr zufrieden, das Bett war bequem und bei geschlossenen Fenstern war kein Straßenlärm zu hören. Vor allem war ich von der Frische, der Auswahl und der Qualität des Frühstücksbüffets überrascht und begeistert. Ich kann mich wirklich nicht erinnern, jemals in einem Hotel übernachtet zu haben, in dem das Frühstücksbüffet so gut und großzügig war (einschließlich verschiedener Sorten frischem und getrocknetem Obst, täglich frisch gebackenem Kuchen, frischen Croissants und Pains au Chocolat, Müsli, Joghurt, verschiedenen Sorten frischem Brot und Käse, Kaffee und anderen Getränken usw.). Das Personal war während der vier Tage, die ich dort war, freundlich. Insgesamt eine sehr positive Erfahrung, sie sind lobenswert!

Nice hotel. We really enjoyed our stay. Pool was small but adequate for a dip. Kids enjoyed it. Walking distance to Futuroscope. Maybe 15 minutes walk. Lots of free parking at the hotel. Ate at the restaurant. Good value and nice food. Friendly staff. Bar had some family games like cluedo which was a nice touch and kids enjoyed that. We didn’t pay for breakfast but found a great little cheap and tasty boulangerie across the road. Really recommend that to sit in for breakfast. Staff spoke English at reception and cleaning staff did a good job. Would stay again.

- Personnel très sympathique - Bon emplacement - Prix imbattable pour la région - Climatisation Malgré cela, nous nous y sommes sentis très mal .... - Chambre très humide même en aérant fenêtres ouvertes, avec moisissures sur les murs, tête de lit (!!!!!), douche, tâches de moisissures sur les draps. Difficilement respirable pour quelqu'un d'asthmatique, forte odeur d'humidité. La VMC ne semblait pas fonctionner, peut être qu'une fois réparée tout ira mieux. - Personnel de ménage bruyant le matin - Lit dur et inconfortable, en tout cas pour nous, mais peut être que cela convient à d'autres Je ne mets jamais d'avis négatifs et me méfie beaucoup de ceux que je lis, j'avais préféré croire les bons commentaires (peut-être sommes-nous juste tombés sur une ”mauvaise” chambre ?). Mais cette fois ci, je le fais afin d'avertir les autres, j'ai amèrement regretté d'avoir réservé cet hôtel. Nous ne reviendrons pas.
